What are you talking about? I said theres no cure. You gonna deny that?

You said there's no cure, fine, and you said he's just as screwed as the rest of us, but he's got infinite money when it comes to a hair transplant, he has unlimited access to a great dermatologist should he choose to see one, so how the f*** is he as screwed as the rest of us? He has solutions that a lot of people do not have.

Considering he is only 27, his balding is pretty extreme. That may be the reason why he is holding off on transplants. He may be waiting for his hair loss to stabilize. Or may be, like Jude Law, he just doesn't care.

He's 22.

Oh dear...

If you look at the second picture in the first post, you realize the weird aesthetics of baldness, or better: of the way the brain perceives it.
Come think about it, in the second picture he is missing... 16 squared centimeters of hair? It is the same space as a small tattoo on an arm.
And yet, compared to the first picture, the face has a totally different balance.
The eyes of the beholder are totally distracted from the beautiful eyes and redirected to the anonymous forehead.

^I don't even know what to make of your sh*t sometimes.

This guy really gets nailed for baldness, I mean he's not even THAT bald (yet), the most important thing is framing the face, once you have that, which he does, that is nearly the whole battle aesthetically.

I say that but wow, he really does go from dashing to sub-average without a hat. I think possibly he just looks good with a hat, even an NW1 hairline wouldn't improve him that much, he just kinda has sh*t hair and receding isn't helping either.

If he maintains his hair as it is into his late 20's and 30's, he won't get as much attention for it, it's just that he's a very successful 22 year old guy, he should not be NW2+ and people like to take apart "perfect" young people.

Can he look better with buzz cut..?

Why are you so triggered? No money in the world is going reverse someone from complete baldness to a full head of hair. So yes, he's just as screwed as we are. You think because he has money he somehow has access to treatments we don't? He's balding. And will more than likely end up NW6 or greater. He's screwed. Accept it.

Jordan is the answer to those who advise bald men to "be the best" at something to somehow neutralize the negative effects of baldness. best golfer in the world right now, but yet he is more known for his hairloss than his talent. go figure.

"Extreme" lol. I had that head of hair at the age of 20.

T

I erroneously thought that the guy is 27, he is only 22. Having that level of balding at that age must be simply devastating. I can barely handle NW2.5 at 34. On the bright side, he has fame and enormous amount of money, so I don't think he will ever have to worry about women.

Too bad women don't care about anything else but looks.

I hope he will enjoy his gold diggers.
Luckily for him, he has had the same girlfriend since high school. She is a beautiful girl.

Apart from that, it is just incredible he is 22. Really looks like 8-10 years older. Damn!
The second picture without the hat is in bad lighting. Here is a better picture. I think he looks better in hat and will look way better with a thick NW1 hairline but I don't think he looks quite as bad as was shown in the second picture in the opening post.

Lol this is actually pretty fun. I made a better one, slightly more appropriate to his natural hairline. Here it is in gif form so you can really see the difference that frontal "piece" makes:

This is as funny as it is disturbing (or better: alarming). Alas, hair makes you another person...

Baldness ,aggressive male pattern baldness as in J.S. case, simply does not afford anyone the luxury of influencing typical consequential societal biases.
As direct and forceful as the impact of a headwind blows,
he went from a "cute, young kid," to a balding guy who on any average day
would generally be remembered for "his pretty blue eyes".

However J.S.' is not your average guy.
In a large public arena, he is clearly a very successful, up and coming pro-golfer
with a potentially even bigger future ahead of him.
On a personal level his "pretty blues" might save his face from aesthetic male pattern baldness ruin?
Will male pattern baldness hurt his celebrated professional standing? I highly suspect not.
I imagine it would have to take an overestimated talented player who lacks steely conviction,
and competitive drive, for that to ever happen.

This clearly makes him better looking. If he can maintain what he has, he can get transplant in future and probably pull of that look.

Don't be mad I appear "triggered", it just means your desperate trolling attempt worked at pissing me off, please don't act like you're scaring me with the truth.

I don't know where my hairline or diffuse thinning would be now without minoxidil and finasteride, but a good handful of years since going on minoxidil I'm about 90% sure I could have lost it all very quickly, or at least now I'd be seen as a "bald man". Instead since minoxidil did a good job of maintaining up to a point, and finasteride is re-growing, I'll at least get to my mid 30s still only being noticed as balding by other bald guys. Then I can look at getting a hair transplant.

Jordan Spieth can look at that option right now, and you're saying he's just as screwed as a 22 year old kid working in Burger King? When you're aggressively balding from early 20's it's unlikely minoxidil and finasteride will maintain, but a hair transplant will give him a chance, and you write this nonsense about how he's as screwed as anyone.

Why do you, like many of us, spend so much time reading up on research and the future of treatments? To follow your logic is just saying, give up, which of course you'd never do, but if you really believed you're totally screwed as anyone and there's nothing you can do, why not just submit to letting it all go? Or maybe you just want others to do that.

Also, how is he completely bald? Do you think as you type stuff out or it's just stream of consciousness BS?

I can see 'some' truth in the statement about him being just as screwed as anyone regarding hair loss. Not necessarily because he is, but because he could be. If for example his natural donor density or charcteristics aren't good then there is nothing in the world he will be able to do to get a full head of hair. That is assuming finasteride is for whatever reason not an option for him or not an working. We are still very limited in our treatment options to hair loss and it doesn't matter how rich someone is if they're not a 'good candidate'. He could have a hairline transplant now and end up looking ridiculous in years to come.

Having said all that, it is still completely stupid that there are people here claiming he is better known for hair loss than for golf. If he goes bald tomorrow then be is still a rich, successful golfer and he probably wont age at all for the next 25-30 years.
