All the money in the world won't fix his baldness... there's no cure. He's just as screwed as us.

Uhm, I guess getting on finasteride will help. Then, as he has more than enough money, he could get a hair transplant to cover the frontal part. Given that his crown does not show visible bald spots, I'd say problem solved?

Baldness does not discriminate, it is an equal opportunity destroyer.
As far as treatment goes, J.S.'s options
are the same slim pickings the rest of us have to choose from.

Don't be mad I appear "triggered", it just means your desperate trolling attempt worked at pissing me off, please don't act like you're scaring me with the truth.

I don't know where my hairline or diffuse thinning would be now without minoxidil and finasteride, but a good handful of years since going on minoxidil I'm about 90% sure I could have lost it all very quickly, or at least now I'd be seen as a "bald man". Instead since minoxidil did a good job of maintaining up to a point, and finasteride is re-growing, I'll at least get to my mid 30s still only being noticed as balding by other bald guys. Then I can look at getting a hair transplant.

Jordan Spieth can look at that option right now, and you're saying he's just as screwed as a 22 year old kid working in Burger King? When you're aggressively balding from early 20's it's unlikely minoxidil and finasteride will maintain, but a hair transplant will give him a chance, and you write this nonsense about how he's as screwed as anyone.

Why do you, like many of us, spend so much time reading up on research and the future of treatments? To follow your logic is just saying, give up, which of course you'd never do, but if you really believed you're totally screwed as anyone and there's nothing you can do, why not just submit to letting it all go? Or maybe you just want others to do that.

Also, how is he completely bald? Do you think as you type stuff out or it's just stream of consciousness BS?

Jesus, you're still going on about this?

Face it, there's no cure and hair loss is progressive. Get over it.

every super hot, single woman I know would date this guy in a heart beat. Your thirties are much different, not only because expectations drop, but because it's the norm to see men with thinning hair. Fred - to say that this is ALL women care about is totally wrong and you know that. We have been over the importance of looks a million times, but this man is FAR from ugly. I guarantee you if you never saw this guy in a hat, and simply posted a pic of him, the perception would be different.

Only 22!! It's worse than I thought then.

He's going to be NW5+ in a year or two with that balding progress. It's very sad to see such a handsome fella (with a cap of course) age 10+ years just by taking off his hat. I can't imagine he doesn't care - everybody does deep down. Especially when you lose your hair young. I bet it's killing him inside seeing his hair vanish by the month. It's just a very, very sad sight.

You are right, there is no cure to hair loss. BUT there's still options, like treatments or a hair transplant. If someone has good donor density they can basically "cure" their hair loss with a hair transplant (and maybe treatments). Well, unless you are suffering from DUPA like me. Then, you are eternally damned and screwed.

Hottest girl I know has dated TWO bald guys and is now dating a very 'subpar' looking guy... granted all of them had money to spend on her.

Treatments won't reverse significant loss and a lot of times they only slow down loss. Looking at Jordan Spieth, he's screwed, he's definitely headed towards an NW6 horseshoe pattern with nothing currently available to completely reverse his inevitable full on baldness (that is of course unless Dr. Tsuji pulls through on his 2020 claim).

Sure he could get an hair transplant and jump on finasteride... but that's nothing any of us dont have access too. And his hair loss looks like WILL progress further. But even with finasteride, there's no telling if the PGA allows that to be taken (the LPGA forbids it for women).

I know nothing about golf, but maybe he could get a medical exemption? I know there was some goalie in the NHL that popped for finasteride, and it turned out he had a medical exemption that allowed him to take it or something.

I believe Wayne Rooney has also openly admitted to taking propecia.

I'm pretty sure it's a banned substance in at least some pro sports because it can be a masking agent for certain PED's.

It's pretty funny though considering golf isn't much of a sport. Not like you need to be in shape for it, lol.

Yeah, I don't see how taking PED's would really enhance one's performance in something not requiring much physical exertion, like golf...but then again I really know nothing about golf, so who knows.

Finasteride has been banned for a long time. It has been whitelisted for a while now, though.

From Wiki;

From 2005 to 2009, the World Anti-Doping Agency banned finasteride because it was discovered that the drug could be used to mask steroid abuse.[31] It was removed from the list effective January 1, 2009, after improvements in testing methods made the ban unnecessary.[32] Notable athletes who used finasteride for hair loss and were banned from international competition include skeleton racer Zach Lund, bobsledder Sebastien Gattuso, footballer Romário and ice hockey goaltender José Théodore.[32][33]

The improved testing methods were a win for hair lol

Swimming at #36? Behind baseball which is at #9?! LOL... Baseball's a joke too.

It's a little baffling to see rugby outranked by BB. Haha American ethnocentrism at play again?
