On the one hand I can't imagine it bothering people. When I step outside I see billboards for Victoria's Secret, etc. Doesn't everybody?
On the other hand, you're not an anonymous model on a billboard, you're a human being that we speak to and have full conversations, so that may increase sting for some people.

It bothers people more than a billboard, because in the eyes of those concerned, EvilLocks is the very reason they suffer - she's a hot woman who would never give them any - due to their baldness / ugliness / whatever. Worst of all, she's RIGHT HERE, every day, posting, in front of their noses, on a predominately male forum.
I used to feel similarly (not towards her but the women around me) when my hair was at its worst, now that it's getting better, I dun do give no fucks as I am starting to feel confident about my looks again, but I know her presence must burn pretty badly for those who are not as fortunate.
Ain't no one to blame, it's just normal. Life f*****g sucks when you're not attractive and it sucks even more when you used to be, but aren't anymore. That's how it is.

I understand what you mean. I don't want to step on anyone's toes so I'll use neutral avatars from now on, don't want to rub my body in people's face if they'd rather not see it. However, I don't think I mention that I'm (formerly) attractive much anymore, so I don't know why that would bother certain people on here. I just wish we could co-exist on this forum, male or female, attractive or unattractive. I happen to be attractive (except the hair of course), but that doesn't define who I am as a person. I wish certain members here would understand that I'm not here to hurt anybody, I'm simply here because I'm hurting because of my hair loss and I need to talk about it.

I definitely notice her avatars.
Avatars are very important on forums because it's easier to remember an image than a screen name. My main request with avatars is that people try and keep the same avatars for a long time.
