Reality check

Most men over estimate there height by 2 inches.

Went to the doctor bare foot a weak 5'10 Depending on if I slouch or stand at attention.

"Those were the shittiest two years of my life."

and also further cementing how important appearance is.

Ditto

And it taught me to trust my own instincts and always look for better doctors when I know something is wrong.
I am taking that life lesson with me

Even my girlfriend recently turned to me after watching one of these cheap hair piece videos on Facebook:

"See? That's also a solution!"

*Cringe*

LOL.
Those hair piece videos are going viral on social media, and people are either like ''eww, better bald!'' or ''what an amazing solution!''
Either way they don't know what they're talking about.
How many people in the world are experienced hair piece wearers, and happy with this ''solution''? Ask your father, I bet very few.
I get the feeling that most people who try it hate it and give up sooner or later.
How I am going to survive decades with this thing glued to my scalp is a mystery to me.
I'll probably end up a wig slave sooner or later, something I swore I never would. I'm going to try to learn how to bond myself first, though, and see if I like that better.

Does your father bond himself, @WhitePolarBear ? Where does he order his hair pieces? Asking as he is a rare veteran among hair piece wearers.

Self measuring height as a man in 2017: Rounding up to nearest inch then adding another inch. "f*** yeah, I'm huge!"

Same with penis size. (I might be coping on this one).

My father will be a slave to it forever now.

It's an addiction, I mean just look it up: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/info/addiction/signs-of-addiction.php

When I saw "secrecy" in the list, I remembered what @shookwun said: get ready to become a very secretive person.

My father has seen hundreds of hair piece wearers come and go at his salon in 35 years (to answer your other question).

You want to know how many gave up on it? Easy: all of them. He's the last man standing.

That should tell you everything you need to know about hair pieces.

His salon orders the hair piece, and it's shipped from South Korea or India, very professional people.

He does all the maintenance himself.

I can only imagine how much of a relief it would be for your father to finally let go of his hair piece. Doesn't sound like he ever will though, it's probably too hard for him to imagine living life as bald.
It's a sad existence.

Lets hope you only have to put up with this for another five or so......

Lets hope we dont discover a glorified version of minioxidil and finasteride. An actual cure in japan.

I am sure many of you including myself would not even think twice about paying 20,000 for a full head of terminal hair back. I know I wouldn't....

I would get into debt if I had to.

The greatest irony about hair pieces is that it's probably better living life as bald than being a slave to something that only weighs you down. However, the fear of living life bald is what is holding us piece wearers back.

As much as I dislike the idea of wearing, you should adopt a more positive mind set towards wearing. As I routinely mentioned, over time it gets easier, and the process becomes more natural. The burden of wearing will always be there, but it simple gets easier with time. Adaption in both physical and mentally can be expected.

Dont dwell to much on the idea, I am merely trying to help others from making a big mistake.

However we know most the incels spouting hair pieces are pussies any way. All bark no bite...

Wearing a piece is no joke, it was a difficult time in my life. I try not to think back, because the negative emotions I fealt are not worth bearing memory over.

ha, it will never happen.

I welcome anyone who thinks diffrentely to go that route, but we all know most people are all bark no bite.

Look at the wig section, all the failures. Only a handfull of people who manage to make it work, what does that tell you?

I'm not the one who needs convincing here, you were the guy who hated it and then went on to try it.

And I hope I'm wrong here and you don't try it again, it sounds like it simply has a negative impact on 90% of guys who do.

because it's not a viable solution. Worst mistake I ever made, and I paid the price of close to five months lost time. 3 months wearing and an additional two months of living under a hat waiting for my diffuse male pattern baldness to grow out again. It pushed me to the edge, and made me realize how sacred our own hair is. I came within peace of my existing hair, and decided to exceed my own expectations of further restoration, and literally coming off steroids. Hair became that sacred entity of my identity that i didn't realize existed before. I did not take it for granted, and only when I was faced by the turmoil of wearing did I made amends with my hair.

burned one of the wigs in the woods, pissed on it shortly after.

People seem to think the final product of a youtube video showing a fitting is the life style involved. (complementary techno music in backround). Far, far FAR from it.

After this last transplant, which resulted in 2800 grafts all over my entire scalp I have transcended into the person I want to be finally. 5 1/2 months post operation, and my perspective completely changed. I am finally enjoying my hair, instead of living behind situational coverage.
