I think the increase is more than 2 points btw. I got rated 7/10 on lookism, but I get more matches in Thailand than a 8.5/10 male model I used(with realistic pics) over here gets. My matchrate here is about 5%, there it's over 90.

I've had way more success since this "match" system was put in place.

Why? Easy, girls do the choosing, and by choosing who can talk to her, she will not be bombarded by hundreds of messages.

Which is what happened before on Badoo and Okcupid. I usually spent a few hours a week messaging "hey how are you?" to all the girls.

That's a cardinal sin here in Toronto. Generic messages like that get you immediately ignored. Girls will even write that they will NOT respond to you if that's all you write because they demand you to write some ultra original message.

These are the results any above average guy would get.

In 5 years doing online dating, I've had 86 first dates out of... maybe also 200000 swipes or "Hey, how are you?". I have no idea.

This guy did slightly better than me because he has hair. I have friends who are similar to me in terms of looks but have hair, they get twice as many matches and opportunities.

Anyway, this also shows the importance of getting dates, not stupidly counting matches or phone numbers like in these retarded male model experiments.

You cannot improve this ratio unfortunately, no witty lines, or muscles, or cool tattoos is going to help.

What we see here is just the reality of being a normal (or above average) guy on today's dating scene.
