Zimmy you are a true Scottman- Cheap.

By the way I don't see how you could get a 350z to go 0-60 in that time frame- impossible unless you strapped on a supercharger or nitrous. Road and track could only muster a 6.5 sec to 60 best for your car. A real dissapointment for a car that wreacked havoc in twin turbo mode 8 years ago.

Nissan Altima 3.5 SE 6.25 to 60 -Fast

Dodge SRT4 0-60 5.8 -real fast

Redbones Dodge SRT4 with 10psi boost increase 0-60 4.9sec you'll need a change undies fast... Although I don't think Wookies wear under Pants.

In terms of speed, how about a Suzuki Hayabusa that will run 0-120MPH in 6.6 seconds.

Not bad huh!

the liquid sh*t in face pic...... someone has been spending too much time at rotten.com...

sigh, I've always wanted a really fast car, never had one.

I can afford the car note for a really fast car, just not the car note+INSURANCE!

Once I was interested in a new Corvette. I could have made the payments, but the insurance was going to be 500/month!

I'll continue to putt around in my 2001 Dodge Intrepid SE for now. Only neat thing about my car is that the cops are starting to use the new Intrepid around here - which means people will get out of my way in traffic wondering if I'm an unmarked cop

I stand corrected- There is no excuse though for the *** vomit pictures.

Bruce the Hyabusa is the fastest production thing I have ever seen. Regularly blasting to 145mph in about 9.5sec at the track, unmodified. The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is second with quarters in the 9.8 range.

The yamaha R1 is a bit behind at 10.5 and nothing else is worth mentioning. The Hyabusa puts the rocket in crotch rocket.

It is so fast it scared me right off it. I was going to buy one and then said, sh*t, no need to die before my time.

Maybe next life!

wow, i was going to start a thread here about cars to see what the common folk drove and knew about cars.

anyways, my VW GTI 1.8T will rule all of u guys! pushing 1.1 bar of boost with a 2.5" DP and exhaust, there's no way i can lose!

just kidding. btw, the 350Z is one sweet arse ride. i like the 52/48 weight distribution and the idea on putting the engine behind the front drive shaft. sometimes i'm just sick of german cars. they look nice and stuff, but their just too porky and heavy.

and btw, don't look too much into the 0-60 figures. those ppl in the magazine reviews drop the clutches at 7000 rpm on a 4WD car or a S2000 or a RX-8. i do not see the common folk doing that. if yes, say good bye to ur stock clutch in 5K miles.

anways, good luck with the 350Z.
