Hmm it seems like I am going to have to think about this one. I am also looking for a 1995 MR2 Turbo, seen any of those out there?

Sure they are easier to get and a lot cheaper. A curious car, not a huge following but kinda of quick and cool.

Super quick when modified, I had one and it could pushed about 280rwhp nicely modified. If you wanted to you could easily get one to push 500hp with a modified turbo. Provided you ran bigger injectors and a huge after market intercooler to cool that 25psi you would be running.

The thing handle incredible and was a real scream to drive. The closest thing to a ferrari without the price tag. Bruce you seem like you have a few bucks why dont you drop a Vortech into your C5?

C5 is gone. It was fast as it was.

Currently looking for BMWs for re-sale. Will try a M3 for a while for my personal ride, as I have not had one before.

Also dealing C5s, so I may try a ragtop for a while come spring time.

So many cars, so little time!

The MR2 sounds like a hoot.

I don't generally buy new cars anymore. As a dealer, I do much better buying at wholesale after a car has had its big D, depreciaton paid for by the new buyer.

I will wait on the 6 until it is out a couple of years.

Good idea though.

I do like the new Acura TL. Like an NSX with 4 doors.

2004 Dodge SRT4

Greddy cat back (dual)
HKS boost control
Greddy blow off valve
MSD Sport compact inginition
Nology Hot wires
MSD Blaster SS coil
Iridium plugs 2 degrees cooler
Greddy intercooler
Oversized throttle body and EGR plate
160 thermostat

290 hp at the wheels@20psi

lol ok. Nice way to edit your post to change it up. Obviously you know nothing about modifying cars.

MR2 turbo closest thing to a ferrari? Please. To get near 500hp in those cars you have to replace the rods and pistons

LOL wtf is all this stuff? Did you get this from a google search for fast and the furious? You have to have a turbo before you get a boost controller and the Altimas engine doesnt have one nor does it have a distributor. It's a coil per cylinder. Welcome to yesterday. Nissan's been doing coil per cylinder since the late 80s (prototype z32 which eventually came out for full production in '90). So there goes the sport compact ignition and blaster coil (which both suck anyway).

Also red, WTF is 20psi = 290rwhp all about? Is that 20psi on a lawnmower? 20psi on a VQ35DE would make in the 600rwhp range.

You do know the Stillen catback makes the most hp out of all the catbacks available for the VQ35DE right? The borla came in a close second, but the Stillen produced more HP and torque. Bomb made a good choice.

By the way bomb, there is a Greddytt and Power Enterprise TT kit coming out. It produces 400rwhp on the 350z. I imagine the numbers wouldnt be too far off for the Altima (provided it is 100% compatible). Fuel delivery is either going to be re-flashed stock ecu or DFMU.

Wow those are exciting... TTs for the VQ? Sweet. I've been watching a couple of threads on people adapting the new Stillen supercharger for the Altima. I dont have the $$ right now but it would be a sweet investment.
Yea. At 5psi, they were getting over 400rwhp. Running mid to low 12s untuned. I wouldnt go over 5psi on 10.3:1 compression though

I think that men are more sensitive about their cars than their hair. Or maybe it is a tie!

Anyway, I always liked the Mister 2s, think they were cool and of course, the Ferrari does come with the cost of the on-site mechanic!!

Hey, if it rolls fast, I probably like it!

I sh*t you not Bruce with a good launch and my ACT clutch and TRW shortie shifer the thing would smoke Posi through two gears. It had so much power if you stomped it at 20 it would light em up hard. I burned off a new set of 40 series firehawks in less than 8 mo of regular driving.

And the mid- engine made it handle incredilble

Its simple if one just does the math

1991 MR2 stock 200Hp 200lb torque 0-60 5.8 1/4 14.00

That is at the stock 11psi boost with everything else stock,

Imagine how it ran all Greddied out and with 18psi and an upgraded turbo.

Yes help you are a moron- I base this on your ignorant statements.

Would be very hard there is no room barely enough for the side mounted four thats in there and the plumbing for the intercooler. It cost me $550 to replace a radiator hose. And that was from a hick shop in NH. He had to take the whole engine apart to get at it. It ran under the turbo housing. I had to sell it after it cost me $12,000 in repairs and upgrades.

Ok, you have crossed the line into "idiot hood." Who the hell said anything about a VW? lol The VQ is a nissan motor you moron

Yes I knew you were referring to the 2nd gen MR2s. Let me guess, you think they're the closest thing to a Ferrari because they are supposed to look like one? They look like ***. By the way, let's see some proof on the MR2 going to 60 in 5.8 seconds and running a 14 flat STOCK. They are high 14 second cars stock. They're also popular amongst highschool kids who cant afford mkivs. Stock boost 11psi? Try again. It's 7-10 depending on conditions

Here's a guy with a '91 mr2 with 2 mods . He's running 15.3 in the 1/4 (14.8 corrected for elevation) http://drs.yahoo.com/S=2766679/K=1991+m ... master_two

Here's another link showing stock 1/4mile times for the '91 turbo MR2
http://drs.yahoo.com/S=2766679/K=1991+m ... n/3v2.html
Read what the guy wrote : "Stock numbers are 200bhp, 200ftlbs, 6.1 0-60, and 14.7 1/4mile. "

YOU ARE THE BIGGEST MORON EVER

After careful Scrutiny of Helpme's post I have surmized that- HELPME IS BEYOND HELP

Listen up junior your links are as stupid as you. Who cares about peoples custom web pages. Why dont you find the Road and track link from 1991 when the car came out if you really want to know. Till then Help get back in your Plymouth Sundance pop in your Jusitn Timberlake CD and shut your pie hole.

I don't care what people wrote I want to see the road test from a major magazine. Dont bother responding you are taking up valuable hard drive space with this crap. People here are interested in hair saving techniques not your worthless banter on Rear Wheel Horsepower.
