Unfortunately from what I can tell reading the pieces boards, it sounds like it takes a lot of trial and error from experience before you can actually make a piece look decent

It's true. Its to much of a hassle though.

They look good as you can see of my photo. But a lot of bullshit to endure maitenance, life style and private wise

Don't believe the bullshit about the redness gone in two months. For some that might be the case but for most caucasian men expect a long recovery.

Just going to have to suck it up. It's tough but..... that's the price we gotta pay to enjoy having hair again . WI'll look like a walking experiment for the first couple weeks.

How long does it take your native hair to grow back in after shaving? I've never shaved my head.

The diffuse areas take forever to go grow back. I had to constantly get a trim to even my donor area, sides and up top. Top of my head grows in patchy. Its all dependant on your hair, but expect the hair to grow back slow.

Hair grows on average half an inch a month

It took mine around 8 weeks from a no guard to a normal hair cut.

My redness both times healed VERY fast. Im italian though with fairly tan oily skin so maybe that helped?
