My scalp itches and my hair falls. The topical finasteride I have been using for a long time does not work, I've been using it along with minoxidil, and even managed to get some topical spironolactone. Soon I will add in RU a couple days a week, which I predict will do sh*t nothing.

Then the last resort: Killing the most potent male hormone by adding in oral finasteride. My high DHT is what's keeping me low bodyfat, even tho I barely exercise beyond walking. Im skinny, but my muscle density is great. That, im sure, it's due my systemic high DHT.

I may be one of those cases that requires the systemic DHT to be lowered, which means im fucked. I need to FEMINIZE myself with a drug to HOPE that my hair stops falling as fast and hopefully my scalp itch stops as well. What a joke of a life. Definitely a proof that god does not exist or that he is a troll, by making you choose between the mere hope of slowing down hairloss or being in shape with an high libido and huge hardons which im sure will diminish as soon as my DHT starts getting fucked by the drug.

I just can't win.

How was your scalp itch before the topicals. Maybe all the chemicals you're slathering on your scalp is making it worse.
A double edged sword.

No, my scalp infact feels fresher after I apply the topical, the thing is, it does not last. This leads me to believe that indeed, my scalp is being attacked by my high DHT, the topical does some good, but enough, since I've got too much DHT and it's a 24/7 production. The topical gives me a rest of a couple of hours. Not enough, since I would need to apply way too many times to keep the scalp itch away, not to mention during the 8-10 hours of sleep you can't do nothing.

Let's see.. is DHT the most potent male androgen? Yes
Does finasteride delete 70% of the most potent male androgen? Yes

I have been where you are, many times. From my personal experience, I will tell you the following.

1) topical finasteride is complete f*cking bullshit. Jargon. If it's not going systemic, it's not working.

2) Topical spironolactone is complele f*cking bullshit. Jargon. If it's not going systemic, it's not working.

3) Your wild theories about finasteride are way off base. You are NOT going to feminize yourself. You are not going to kill your manhood. Try it. If it doesn't work, or causes any gyno, which I promise it most likely won't, drop it.

4) My DHT was "f*cked" by finasteride and I would get harder than I ever have in my life. Apparently, DHT doesn't mean sh*t.

I microdosed Finasteride earlier this year, about 0.5mg once a week for about 2-3 months. I noticed a drop in libido and weaker erections. I started finasteride in about January and hopped off around March... never going back to it again. Fast forward to today, everything is pretty much back to normal. Thank god.

Lets put it this way - finasteride is either a) a godsend to the hair loss sufferer or b) complete f*cking poison to the hair loss sufferer. I experienced reduced libido on finasteride the first month, then it shot through the roof and then I started losing hair like a f*cking chemo patient. and yet? I am on dutasteride now.

A little over a year of waiting and we'll have Histogen on the market, and potentially Replicel / Follica. 2 years after that and we're looking at Tsuji and we're basically done with this nightmare.

indeed. I am 34 now. If I can have decent density in my 40's then I will be happy.

How old are you Hellouser?

Thought you were older for some reason.

Maybe it's the avatar :D

I mourned when the papers said you were dead,
I see now they were dead wrong
Rediscovering you here among
the GhostlyThrong of Bald Heads
it appears we'll get well enough along
covering up the smell of dread
and lighting reigniting birthday candles instead.

Glad you crawled out of hiding Lizard King.

I actually had similar side effects with finasteride. Although I do always advise for others to at least try it out since it can do a world of good if you do not get any side effects (and plenty of men don't). But plenty of men do indeed get side effects from finasteride; I am living proof of that. And that is why I helped to fund for you to go to Hair Congress, because we need much better options than what we have now.

I have been where you are, many times. From my personal experience, I will tell you the following.

1) topical finasteride is complete f*cking bullshit. Jargon. If it's not going systemic, it's not working.

How is it complete f*****g bullshit when I know some people that got good results?
Can you prove that you require systemic reduction of DHT for it to work?
Im pretty sure oral finasteride works because it reaches the scalp tissue, that's all. What does the rest of the body have to do with your f*****g scalp? Therefore, if the finasteride is applied directly on the scalp, you are doing the same thing directly, without having to gamble with the oral pill reaching the scalp.
It's my desperation that's making me consider doing oral as well. But my theory still makes sense to me.

2) Topical spironolactone is complele f*cking bullshit. Jargon. If it's not going systemic, it's not working.

Same sh*t I said before. If you think only lowering androgens systemically can slow male pattern baldness, then male pattern baldness has no cure and we MUST feminize ourselves to see results, which is what systemically lowering DHT means.

3) Your wild theories about finasteride are way off base. You are NOT going to feminize yourself. You are not going to kill your manhood. Try it. If it doesn't work, or causes any gyno, which I promise it most likely won't, drop it.
They make complete sense. The fact that I find some relief in the way my scalp feels when I apply my lotion, says that even if it's only for a while, it's doing something positive. I have noticed that if I spend 24 hours without applying anything, my scalp feels worse.

4) My DHT was "f*cked" by finasteride and I would get harder than I ever have in my life. Apparently, DHT doesn't mean sh*t.

You are a classic coping finasteride user. "DHT means nothing". You are dumb as a brick if you really think that lowering 70% of the most potent male hormone does sh*t nothing, you are out of your mind and on deep wishful thinking.
But since hairloss is death, I understand that f*****g yourself up with the pill is still better than balding. Im just not delusional enough to think that finasteride isn't a feminizing medication.

Since im high DHT in nature, im pretty sure I will not have any devastating side effects, but going from a high DHT, high libido, low bodyfat while doing sh*t nothing, great muscle density male, to some average DHT male, it's going to suck.

Do most men who take finasteride become feminized? No

Give it a couple of years and im sure most men will notice the side effects of being a low DHT cuck. It makes absolute no sense to think otherwise. If a guy has no sides when getting rid of 70% of its DHT, it must be because the body is doing some gymnastics trying to balance things out through other hormones such as testosterone and whatnot, but this is a balance that eventually will break. If you really think you can systematically get rid of 70% of your f*****g DHT (let alone dutasteride) and nothing is going to happen, you are just delusional. Maybe those low sentience enough that don't have a strong connection with how their body feels don't notice anything (usually low IQ as well) but the bottomless is, you cannot get rid of something, and expect no changes.

I mean we have people getting f*****g gyno out of it. Then we have TONS of people have weird side effects such as, your c*m turning watery. I still would like to know what the f*** does that mean.

Cope. See you in 5 years to confirm that we are indeed still stuck with finasteride, minoxidil and the RU if you want to add in in the equation.
