I tried microneedling 0,75 mm this sunday and applied the new zix batch 24 hours later. This morning I washed my hair. OMG.
Sunday: lost about 10 hairs
Monday: lost 5 hairs
This morning after wash: lost 55 hairs.

Last time I had this was years ago! My new regime is daily zix with ethyl alcohol (instead of vodka) and once a week microneedling.

Congratulations, so happy for you that’s great news. I’m planning to start once I get my ingredients. What are you using to microneedle? I would like to start that at some point too just don’t really know how to do it and little scared to be honest. Hope your great results continue.

Great to hear that vodka is not a good ingredient. Did you wash your hair every day or just Tuesday? What was your normal shedding on no shampoo vs shampoo days?

Also, how often do you apply? how much do you use? and do you find it gives your hair a boost in cosmetic thickness?

@ worm How many people approximately have returned to tell you they tried Zix and it worked? Just curious.

Thanks you! I am using a dermapen (derminator). It is worth the investment because I also use it for my skin. Treatment stings a little afterwards, but manageable after two painkillers. I ended up doing it myself as my man couldnt do it i Will update with pics in 4 weeks!

So vodka works, but ethyl alcohol rocks! I wash my long hair every other day, so Sunday morning, tuesday morning, Thursday morning etc.

Normal shedding on no shampoo days was about 50 hairs (now 8 on average) and normal shedding on shampoo days was 100-150 hairs (now 55 hairs). Before I started with Zix daily shed was 200+ and shampoo shed was 250+. 2018 Telogen Effluvium was a terrible year for my hair.....

I apply 2x Daily, about 2 ml. I have a dropper and try to cover my scalp. It definitely gives me cosmetic thickness! I see lots of new hair bursting in. I feel it calms my scalp and provides a good environment for my hair to grow back.

So far Zix had greatly reduced the worst shed ever, stopped inflammation and I have shiny and wavy hair again. And not just me. I gave it to my sister (post surgery shed) and sister in law (FPL, visible scalp) and they are amazed with the results thusfar (4 weeks in). It reduced the shed and both have regrowth, small hairs of 1 cm.

So thank you Worm and others, this thread helped us so much!

Quite a few, maybe 30. But they all disappear and very rarely post afterwards.

Most people who claim it doesnt work either arent using the right ingredients or are mixing in too many other treatments. I'm my experience for example nizoral and zix cause shedding.

Hi Worm, tried a lot of treatments but currently only on Trinov, it's relatively new and unproven as far as I can tell. Just wondering what your thoughts on using Zix with that could be. Also do you simply just order all the original ingredients off the internet or do you have to get some from a pharmacy. Thanks

I would test them separately.

You order the ingredients from the net

a little update from me:
I started zix a week ago, and let me tell you, I'm shocked.
First thing that came to my mind when I first saw this thread 2 years ago was "how desperate has this place become?
Vitamins and water? Maybe I'll add Pepsi too"

But hell, I AM desperate so I joined Worm's world party.
From the first use I could tell the difference, my scalp felt amazing, the cursed itch was reduced by 80%, and my hair, people, my hair looks so fu***** amazing. I've been fighting my hair for the last few years every morning almost tearing up trying to make it look decent so I can get out to the street without a hat (I used to love hats back when it wasn't meant to hide temples).
My hair looks so good right now that I don't even need a cream/some volume hair spray.

Zix is the opposite of every treatment I've used (and I've used at least 40) -
it doesn't leave your hair greasy/oily/messy, so you don't have to wash it off,
and I won't even be exaggerating if I say that it's also a great styling product for me.
the last few days no matter how I comb my hair it looks great, which is the complete opposite than 2 weeks ago.
It's so great to have this feeling that you know you look great and don't have to worry and search for a mirror so check if your hair moved the wrong way, it's exhausting, I don't need to tell you.

It's not the holy cure,
But it's a great weapon to add to your arsenal along with whatever you use, and probably the cheapest.
Thank you dear Worm for bringing it to our attention,
I owe you one.

Hi @LongWayHome thanks for the comments. I'm glad to hear it's working for you. I agree it's an amazing styling product, adds density to your hair, and helps prevent further loss. It's been a lifesaver for me. Everyone it helps, makes me happy knowing that some are benefiting as I am from what Joe introduced us to 15 years ago

Are you male or female?

Fair question.
I'm a male, 28, been losing hair since I was 18.
Tried everything, finasteride (oral and topical, quit due to sides), ru (did nothing), Oils, foods, Juices etc.
The two things that did work for me were Stemoxydine and minoxidil. Castor oil helps too, but only as a secondary weapon.

There were many "Solutions" over the years:
Alpecin, Hairmetto, Setipiprant, CB, Reboost, and now Trinov.
But the sad truth is that those companies make millions, and when everyone understands that it does nothing, those sellers are already rich and don't give a f***.

Zix is far from being the holy grail but it's a great addition, it's cheap and has no sides.
I had nothing to lose and I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Congrats man. Has it stopped your shedding? And are you using any other treatment?

Also, does anyone know if using zix could cause a shed? Thanks

I do not pay attention to the shedding department, because it means nothing in my case.
There are periods when I do not shed at all, yet I lose ground, and periods when I shed a lot but my hair looks amazing.

In the past week my hair looked amazing, and the crazy thing is that when I use Zix it looks 10 times better,
meaning that it acts like a styling product, adds volume etc, at least for me.
I should add that I'm one of those people that joked about combining vitamins and water, it seemed stupid to me,
because when you have "complicated" treatments with "clinical proof" such as Minoxidil, ru, or even Trinov,
taking pills and throwing them into alcohol and water seems odd.
Look at what's happening now with Sandalore, who could've guessed that?
If someone would've said that it could grow hair 1 year ago, people would've destroyed him here.

The bottom line is - we know nothing, and it's possible that 30 years from now we'll discover that all we had to do was putting ketchup on our scalps and it regrows your hair back to nw1, and we destroyed our dicks with finasteride for nothing.

Hey mate, could you provide us with the exact recipe that you used? There's so many that I'm struggling. Also isn't applying alcohol to your hair a bad thing since it will cause it to dry out more?

I do exactly as Worm said in the first page:

15 mls ethyl alcohol
3 x 220 mgs of zinc sulfate
150 mgs of b6 p5p
45 mls distilled water

btw I forgot to mention: I also use Minoxidil and Stemoxydine (Minoxidil since 2011, Stemoxydine since 2014)
