My Zix Experience - How B6 And Zinc Have Saved My Hair

With 3 capsules, that's 150mgs of elemental zinc. I tend to go through 2-4 mls per day on my scalp. On a per ml basis though, that's 150mgs/60 = 2.5mgs/ml. So 5-10mgs is applied on the scalp daily.

Yeah, I did take 3g for 100ml to show that even high doses are in reality very small and acceptable

Maybe try dropping the b6... Seemed to improve things for me. Him when you say you're losing 100 hairs, is that just in the shower?

I roughly count my hairs after I shower in the morning and then when I apply my evening topical of zix. I generally wash my hair daily.

Are you losing ground? I'd try dropping zinc for a month. Are you using anything else, and what shampoo r u using?

Quick update, I am losing a bit more hair than I was a few weeks ago - 20-25 hairs in the drain vs 10-15. I think the biggest change I can attribute this to is going from washing my hair 1/day to 1 every 2days. I'll ke on this up for another week, and may go back to a daily shampoo. I just hate how greasy my hair gets, and was hoping that it would improve if I didn't shampoo as much. My hair is less greasy, but it still ain't great.

To try and save Worm some time, yes that's the formula at the moment. You can add B6 but it seems Zinc is what's doing the most work. Applied in the morning. You can go back to the 1st page as well. That has the formula (with B6) and instructions.

For 1) I would apply when your hair is mostly dry after your shower. If you use minoxidil at night, I would not use zix. Btw how are your results on minoxidil?

So I caved and washed my hair two days in a row. Did a quick shampoo to limit the amount of time the soap had to strip all the oils from my scalp, reasoning that maybe my scalp won't produce as much sebum if I don't over dry it out.

Good news is I only 7-8 hairs come out.

I don't want to be annoying but does this stuff really work? I have no itching or whatsoever. Can this thicken my hair or enlarge the hair diameter? Does it stop hair loss? And if it works what is the cause? Is one of your ingredients an anti-androgen? I would be so grateful if you could answer, thank you

I dont know why but seem like my shedding have increased with zinc, but the itching/red spot(inflamation) are alot less present

Maybe its the fact that i skip some day due tonthe fact im not home(have big social life)

Cannot notice an increase of shedding more to the point I might be shedding less, used to notice hair strands everywhere, on my desk, laptop, pillows etc

Initially experienced headache when applying zix, now gone

Generally I feel my hair looks healthier - too early to say if zix is doing anything or if this is because I switched shampoos, was previously using Alpecin coffee shampoo.

After rubbing my hand though my hair, it feels slightly thicker on the side I am applying zix than the one I am not

I have dropped castor oil, don't think it was doing anything.

Well no itching and inflammation seems to be a great change. How long have you been using it?

No, that is not true. Just look up zinc pyrithione and hair loss. There is a comparison to ketokonazole shampoo and I think another study which shows how it diminishes shedding and helps with hair loss. I've been taking it for 2 decades internally and I can say it's helped my scalp health like night and day.
