For 1) I would apply when your hair is mostly dry after your shower. If you use minoxidil at night, I would not use zix. Btw how are your results on minoxidil?

Use capsules . Try pluspharma zinc sulphate (or sulfate) u should be able to find them on amazon or eBay.

Correct. I don't like the idea of even small amount of acetone in there. I have some Everclear and was just going to dilute that to proper concentration.

It should dissolve somewhat,the rest sits at the bottom .you just need to shake it up a bit before using your dropper .

The alcohol helps the zinc absorb into the scalp, my impression is that it's not 100% needed, but may make the solution more effective (needs to be ethyl alcohol) With respect to your hair, how long is it? Also, I can't say my solution has stopped my recession, I've lost about 2/3rds of an inch on my hairline and some density in the past 13 years.

Lastly, you fill a 2ml dropper and apply it to your scalp. If you only have 1ml, the fill it and apply it twice to your scalp. Massage the solution into your scalp.
