This is very encouraging. I'm late to the party (my hairline looks almost exactly likeyours did in the first pics) but my first shipment of Kirklands 5% is on it;s way and it can't get here fast enough!

What brand and strength of minoxidil are you using, English? I know people here say they're all the same basically but still, would be be good to know.

Is there anything you can think of outside of your regimen that may have helped you with this ?[/quote]

Thanks dude, can't think of anything, aside from the fact that I started wearing a cap when I began using minoxidil, don't know if this has any effect good or bad, but keeps your head warm in winter, and keeps the sun out of your eyes in summer.....

Great Results!! Congrats!

One question, and pardon my ignorance, whats MSM?

MSM is a suppliment. methylsulfonylmethane. or something like that, you can find loads of info on here under the suppliments heading. I've been taking it for 4 months now, and noticed improvements in hair growth and nail growth, and an injury to my shoulder that has hindered me for about a year has almost completely cured.. try it .!!!

How was your shedding over the past year? Specifically in the first 3 months? How long for you until you looked at it and said, wow, this stuff is working?

Shedding for about 6 weeks, was prepared for this after reading others stories on here, but still was a worry. Hardly lose anything now.
Difficult to say when I first noticed improvements because I was looking everyday and progress is slow, but probably six months I noticed the tiny hairs at my temples were getting longer. and my hair was growing at twice its normal speed. I was pretty shocked when I took the recent photos and put them alongside the old ones last weekend. I had forgot how my hair was a year ago, and I had'nt looked at the old pics since I took them and hid them away on my computer... :freaked:

Yes hawk, twice a day. 7am and then 7pm. and three times a week one application of revivogen, usually 11pm.
I find that revivogen burns my scalp a little, and seems to cause more flaking. but when I first decided to try it I used it every day and I do think it helps with thickening .

English,

When I first say you before and after pictures I was shocked. I can not believe it I must have seen those pictures over 50 times and I am still shocked. Looking at your hair it looks very dense, thick and strong. Currently I am using Revivogen Shampoo only. I need some advice on what other product should I use with revivogen.

jay2k6....
I was a little shocked myself when I put the before and after pics together. As for your question on what to use.. this depends on your present condition, and how much you have to spend on a regime, and also your age. there is so much you can learn from this site and the plight of others here... but for me, Minoxidil has worked wonders, and I use kirkland generic minoxidil. I only wanted to use topical treatments, like minoxidil, as I worry about side effects of dht blocking drugs. and figured that if minoxidil didnt work I could then reconsider. ... So do some research around these pages. learn a little about the options you have and the success others with these options. there are some very well informed guys on here. who I'm sure will lead you in the right direction. And if I can be of further help just ask..... good luck mate.

Moose...
I was waiting for something like this, I guess I am naturally sceptical myself, and always look for the con.. But all I wanted to do was share my success with you guys and maybe give some hope to others.... Dont know how to prove it and dont want to ... there it is it happened, it works, the pics are genuine, I swear on my childrens children.

English,

Right now I am 21 and I have noticed that my hair is getting thin on the vertex and front. I started revivogen a month ago and I wash my hair with it everyday. Revivogen seems to do a great job at cleaning and maintaining a healthy scalp. But I still feel that I need some other product to make my hair thick and strong. I was thinking of taking vitamins but I have no Idea whats good and bad out there since most are scams. Most people here seem to take MSN. What do you suggest?

Thanks

MSM for sure, take 2000mg per day, I noticed a difference after about 3 months. Revivogen shampoo is good stuff, but will have no regrowth properties. I think you need to consider minoxidil, to regain some of your hair loss and thicken what you have left, at your age I would think you will achieve good results...

I used shampoos only for about 2 years and went from a NW0 to a NW2 with diffuse thinning. I would get on some minoxidil at least. Look at my regimen, I'm your same age.
