That's certainly a factor, but for women whiteness drives attractiveness. It's one of the few things that compares to height in importance.

Pinnacle of attractiveness includes a skin type that is Fitzpatrick II. Fitzpatrick I and III are tolerated. Fitzpatrick IV-VI are not.

There are studies backing up the importance of height and skin colour.

In general if you look around you will find interracial couples are quite rare. If race didn't matter, they would be the norm.

I just did a mental check, all of the most attractive women I know on FB are with men of a very similar skin tone. Not just white-white but even within the ethnic group.

Of the girls I've had the most traction with recently, one was from Malta where olive skin is the norm, one was super-white but her fraternal twin had olive skin, and a third had olive skin as well.

But it's possible I'm neglecting a third or fourth factor without realizing it.

I think some eastern european women will like or prefer the americanised male model type look but from the Polish, Lithuanian and Russian guys i know, they regularly shave their heads as default. It is a tougher environment over there and the difference beteeen the sexes tends to be more polsrised...men are generally more masculine and women are more feminine. Feminism changed that in western countries..with women acting like men and taking care of themselves less and men feeling the need to become 'prettier' because it is less about being macho. One Polish guy I train with tells me that when he goes home to Poland soon form a holiday he needs to 'sort some guy out' who used to bully him...hence his recent boxing training. He is an absolute beast in the gym..not an ounce of fat on him, pure muscle..shaved head.

David, I will differentiate between affect of color/ethnicity in success of relationships vs affect of color in driving attraction. One reason why most people choose spouse within their ethnicity is because most people simply know more people of their ethnicity/skin color. I know many brown guys who are married to brown women but they are more attracted to white skin. However, they settled with brown women for reasons such as accessibility, compatibility, cultural similarity, similar thought process and belief system, etc. However, data released by a dating app indicated that if you are a Caucasian male, your chance of getting positive response from women(Caucasian and Asian) goes up substantially. I didn't look at the data in enough detail to comment on it's quality though.

I believe in "opposite attracts" rather than "whiteness rules". I am mixed, with olivey skin and dark hair. I am strangely attracted to scandinavian guys, especially the ones that are uber pale and blonde. However, I find hispanic and Italian guys with dark hair the hottest men on earth.

I don't prefer dark-skinned guys because i can associate myself with them. However, I find them sexier than white guys. I just feel more sexually attracted to white boys because they are different. It's a difficult one.

Umm, I think Asian women drool over Western facial features rather than white skin. I grew up in an Asian country but am mixed so women there love my eyes, nose, everything lol. Asian guys can be pretty pale if they've never been in the sun.

Yes, they like western facial feature but skin color plays a huge role. The same western features in dark skin isn't really considered very attractive. If you go to India you will know what I mean. There is a huge variation in skin color in India. You can find really pale guys and also really dark guys whose skin tone rival African men. Given similar facial structure, Indian men with light skin are usually vastly more desirable to Indian women. Same applies to women too. Indian women with light skin color are considered far more beautiful than a dark skinned women of similar facial structure.

As always, if a man only has one flaw, he is effectively perfect. Same with women.

Margot Robbie, for example, doesn't have large breasts. She's still a 10/10, because her whole package is overwhelmingly sexy. I'd say she's the sexiest woman in Hollywood. No they dont. Ethnic men dating Caucasian women are minorities in most cases. All though from what I have observed licing previously in the most multi cultural city in canada (Toronto) is white men can easily get ethnic women. Aside from that most ste within there ethnic circles.
