Holy cow :turned:

I read up to 3 months into the treatment-thread, and the results seem amazing!

I'm on the same medication as you (2x 5% minoxidil but 2.5mg Finasterid, maybe I'll drop the dosage a bit).
Also use it locally/topically by diluting it in a 60ml Kirkland bottle. I'm using it now for a bit more than 45 days and it already shows, that the hair loss has stopped and new hair seems be regrowing, slowly but thick.

The state is absolutely the same as you started the treatment, scalp (especially because of my very light skin and I'm blonde, too) was showing in bright light and also quite a bit in normal daylight, too. Even in December.
I have no pictures to make my point, but so far it looks like I have absolutely no side effects. No itching, no red spots, just a little bit of shedding which already seems to be replaced.

Wish you all the best and hope, my treatment goes aswell as yours. Never change a winning horse ;)

My libido is dead anyway because I seem to have very low testosterone levels (nearly no beard, I can shave NOT for 3 weeks or longer and all you'll see are maybe 5-7mm and very thin beard hair.

While my hair grows very fast on the head generally.

Anybody knows what could be the reason for this? I guess it's that my body has very low testosterone levels but does convert a lot to DHT.
Any recommendations? (Sorry for hijacking btw :))

I'm 26 this month btw, started with 18 already but very slowly. Never saw it because I had my hear as long as to my hips.

Hope you can keep up the good work,

Michael

if your libido is that dead its definitely not normal. you should probably see a doctor and deal with that before popping finasteride right off the bat.

Thanks TMNK! I just want to say to anyone who is considering finasteride/propecia but has concerns about a change in there body composition shouldn't stress over it.I'm so glad i took finasteride, i noticed zero change and if anything it made me work that little bit harder at the gym in fear of the finasteride changing my body.Despite what a lot think, i've never taken any steroids in my life and i certainly wouldn't in the future ,hair is to important ,plus i don't like that huge bulky look ,its better to be more aesthetic with functional muscle.

Currently I'm around 6-7% body fat and my diet is well balanced ,lots of protein from meat and carbs from vegetables ,potatoes ect..i have about 3-4 cheat meals in 1 week ,this can be anything from pizza to a box of my favourite cereal, you get the idea . So i don't starve myself or restrict my body from anything 'bad'. It's finding that balance and something you can maintain for a long time, thats the key. Obviously i train hard and i'm very passionate with what i do,i pretty much live for fitness and i'm also a creative/artist guy ,which i use to my advantage , i see my body as canvas ,something i can sculpt to the ideal physique i desire.

If/when at some point i lose the hair loss battle ,i think i'm more mature now and mentally prepared to cope with it ,maybe i'm wrong but the older i get the less of an issue it becomes .I won't lie though i will FIGHT this to the bitter end ha! With the available treatments why not?

Took this picture last week ,

Since you don't juice - how many potatoes do you eat per day usually?

Hi, finally i have read all the 75 pages of this thread. Peapoddy, it,s very interesting and very helpful your contribution to this forum. Congrats on your succes with your regimen, please don,t stop posting pics of your hair but with not hair products to see better your progress. Also it,s very great to see your awesome body, you are helping me to motivate to move my *** to the gym. I understand that you can,t comment that you are on roids cause of your job, but it,s very difficult to achieve your body even on roids. So for me it doesn,t matter, you are doing a great job. Don,t forget this forum, thanks

Peadboddy,

I'm fairy certain I have seen pics of you on bb.com correct?

It's good to see such positive results with finasteride as I'm contemplating whether to try it or not.

Since you're obviously knowledgeable in bodybuilding supplements/ancillaries I'm just wondering if you have ran anything else along with finasteride to control sides?

If I get on it, I plan to use an AI (aromasin most likely) to minimize estrogen sides, and maybe something to boost libido. Thoughts?

I am perplexed. Can somebody explain this

Why did peabody change username?

Haircolor and hairline, and forehead posted in post #722 pictures taken "today" 10/25/2012 do not match with the model pictured with the car taken "last week" as of 4/5/2013. Both pictures are supposed to be of OP.

That would have been a success with hair regrowth from October 2012 to April 2013. But, the purported model picture with successful hairline regrowth had been around all over the thread before those oct 2012 pictures. Did the OP go thru roller coaster, thinning, gaining, thinning again to ground zero, and then again recovered?

In some pictures, soft face just does not match the ripped body physique. I am not bashing or anything, but I like to clear up my perplexion as to why the hairline is so drastically different from one pic to others. I might be missing something.

Hi, I am pretty sure that it is the same person. He said he spent a lot time time in the sun and his hair gone blonde in the #723 post picture. So that explains his hair color change. Also he said he was using toppik or concealer when going out. I guess in the first picture (post #723) he didn't use toppik and in the other picture with the car he used one?. Also, I remember he said that he forgot his passwrod or something way back..so maybe that's why he had to make a new account? Regarding his pictures floating around the internet before October 2012, I have no idea!!!!

He posted his facebook page. Google Adam Charlton. He also has more than one account due to forgetting his password.

I ask this guy if he was still on finasteride on his Instagram. He ended up deleting my comment and deleted me as one of his followers. How rude!

Maybe if you thought before you posted that comment, you may have realised that a lot of people don't want people knowing they are taking finasteride, they get embarrassed by it... then you come along and ask that on a open public non hairloss related site.

I'm not surprised he deleted you.

there's absolutely no way that this guy is natural. it's just not possible to achieve this physique within the 3 years time-frame without the use of drugs even if he had the best genetics in the world. i can understand people being deceived by this guy. after all this a hair loss forum not a bodybuilding forum. but take this guy's picture and post it on any bodybuilding forum, tell them that he's been training for 3 years and see what they say about it. this guy lied about his physique, i don't see why he wouldn't lie about his other things too ( hair loss).
