Elliott Rodger is a terrible example, since he didn't even try his luck with women.

If you don't do anything, of course nothing will happen.

I agree, he didn't try hard at all, I read his screed.

But, honestly, I doubt that there was a reasonable plan of action for him.

I know it's a touchy subject for short men, and that they are experts at coping about it.

I think it's better to just accept reality here: being tall is a big advantage in life.

Yep, maybe you have to be tall to understand. One girl I met on tinder first thing she said was, I hope your not a shorty this place is full of them. She was blowing me after a few drinks on the first date. My advanced hairloss didn't even register but if I was short it was game over.

Ugly is worse than being short which is worse than being fat which is worse then being bald.

I don't think being tall is an advantage in all areas of life. For example, being tall wouldn't really make you a good engineer or a philosopher. However, when it comes to women, it's a definite advantage. This is simply indisputable. I know quite a few short guys from 5'7 to 5'9 who are quite successful with women, but I believe if they were tall, they will be even more successful. Also, height is a crucial advantage when it comes to fields like sports, modeling, acting etc.

Obesity is of course really bad. It doesn't just make you uglier, it also destroys your health and your mood.

But, for the vast majority of obese persons, those who don't have severe hormonal imbalances, there's a really effective cure.

It is interesting that some one posted a photo of that Elliott Rodger guy, who committed homicide due to being incel. I wonder if the motive for what he did was actually lack of hope rather than just being incel. I wonder if he thought something like "what kind of woman would hook up with a guy as short as I am 5'3"? I know a guy from the bars who is 5'2 and I feel terrible for him. I remember that even when I was a virgin (lost my virginity older than most), I still did not despair because I knew that I had all of the "tools" to attract a good-looking woman (height, hair, good enough face, muscles), and I had all the optimism in the world. I absolutely yearn for that optimism that I once had. Being as short as 5'3 and incel, he could've lamented that it was "game over" for him due to his height. Not to mention, my friend lives in CA and he tells me how extremely superficial the girls are out there.

This is a smart post. Loss of hope really is the kicker.
The feeling of being out of the game, permanently on the sidelines is what I think really eats away at the bald man.

I read his screed.

He was a lazy, entitled brat.

He never put in much effort into women, on the other hand he also believed (imo correctly) that no amount of effort would land him the girls he wanted.

He was 5'3 and had poor social skills. Game over. Perfect hair only goes so far.

His only hope was to acquire a fulfilling life that did not include genuine female affection, for example in the arts or sciences.

You hate full heads ?

That just strikes me as ridiculous. I am 5"6 and I've never had any " hate" for taller guys. Being short does suck , espically when I'm dealing with hair loss as well . 2 out of the 3 trio of male unattractive ness

But I'm making use of what I do have and women aren't everything. I have my health and I'm greatful for that. Even when I think about how depressing hair loss is its always a reality check to think how much worse things could be .

I totally agree man. To quote Shawshank Redemption, "hope is a powerful thing", and that is what carried me through baldness initially: the hope that I would eventually get my hair back. Believe it or not, I look back fondly at being a young virgin in sh*tty high school, because I really had all of the hope in the world that my situation would improve. Obviously I'm not a virgin anymore, but I'd give anything to have those days back again because I had all the hope in the world. Hope is indeed a powerful thing.

Males who are really short, like 5'2 or 5'3, and are considering killing themselves over it should really consider limb lengthening procedure. I read somewhere that it can increase an individuals height by 3-4 inches. Once they reach 5'7-5'8 they can wear lifts to bump their height to 5'9 to 5'10. That will give them a really good shot with a lot of hot women. Limb lengthening procedure is excruciatingly painful, very risky and is really expensive. But if someone is suicidal any way, this procedure may be worth it.

You basically take a year off if you get that surgery, plus ~$60,000 in direct expenses. It's a costly surgery in every way, but at least you won't be subhuman anymore.

If they ever make it a very simple and cheap surgery, there's a risk that it could become universal, at which point you're at a disadvantage if you don't get it. Yet, maybe it wouldn't.

As an analogy, even breast implants, a surgery which is risk-free and cheap, is only taken by ~5% of women in the USA.
