You seem to be preoccupied with "dead Europeans"!
While a substantial portion of the music I listen to comes from the aforementioned individuals, I do listen to other music, too. For example, are you familiar with the contemporary Russian composer Imants Kalnins (born in 1941)? As far as I know, he's still alive, and I have TREMENDOUS respect for his music. Hell, I even like a lot of Philip Glass, too!
