what abou
No one in there sane mind would notice the difference on a stranger between 1 norwood. If you think girl attention has changed even in the slightest because of going from NW1 to NW2 then your fueling the the fact half of this forum is mentally ill.
what if you already had a naturally high hairline?

Eeeehhh It really depends on the NW2. If you had the low, "square" hairline to begin with, Norwood 2 makes a V shape. If not, NW2 looks a lot more severe.

I always think of the singer from The 69 Eyes when people bring this up.

Here he was not ten years ago, a fullhead.

Oof.

The front part of his hairline is still in the same position as it was before, and he's probably only lost an inch or two on the temples. Still it makes him look closer to NW3 on someone who had a lower natural hairline.

When I was a teenager/early 20s not so long ago, I remember women going nuts for this guy. Even without the facial aging (which isn't tons worse than before) the hit to his hairline undeniably makes him look a lot worse and I guarantee he'd be written off by many more women than he's used to. He looks like an "old man" now.

Someone like Jaime Lannister? Not so much, because he has a lower hairline naturally.

Jyrki 69 is only 2 years older than Nicolaj. 10 years ago, Jyrki looked 10 years younger than Nicolaj did.

Now look at them.

Temple points are what makes you look younger and they help a lot with hair styling. Imagine him with the same temple recession but without temple points. He’d still be NW2-2.5 but he’d look a lot older and uglier.

Can temple points recede as well? Is it possible?

Temple points are very commonly destroyed along with classic temple recession.
Worst, when someone uses a toupee or a hair transplant often temple points are not addressed giving a very unnatural result.
Youtuber mattdominance lacks temple points but hairliciously guy did receive temple point restoration during their FUEs. You can easily notice who looks more natural

Temple point FUE restoration is extremely hard to accomplish.

to end this terrible off-topic discussions about celebrities with receding hairlines I want to give you this info:

Masahiko Uotani, CEO of Shiseido will talk next week on 6th June about the theme Japan, The Next Epicenter of Innovation
Hear how Uotani implemented a strategy that revived business growth in Japan while building its global footprint.

Maybe he will tell something about skin and hair regeneration as the next Epicenter of Innovation in Japan

I don't think he will tell anything about skin or hair regeneration. He is going to talk about the business part of shiseido and how the business is in japan compared to the world

Masahiko Uotani have started his career at Shiseido as and outside chief marketing advisor, and worked with coca cola several years before that. He have absolutely no experience within the medical business.

I would be surpriced if he got into technicalities within hair and skin regeneration.

Sorry for asking something that can be found elsewhere but I'm having difficulty determining if the trial duration is 12 months or 24?

Like, in terms of follow up with the ~60 whatever patients, is it only after 12 months they check efficacy? Or also at the 24 month mark?

Thanks

I wasn't even aware they'd updated their site at all. That's how often I've been checking these things these days.

Not sure if this was ever posted, but from the Replicel website:

Will the RCH-01 treatment create greater hair density increases when it is commercially approved than we saw in the phase 1 trial?

We certainly expect to see better outcomes in future trials because the product is continuously being improved, finding the best dose should deliver better results, and we expect to see greater hair density increases when we are permitted to test multiple rounds of injections.

I hate to be that guy, but...

Obviously. Nothing in that FAQ section there is anything other than exactly what I'd expect them to say.

Like, there's no way they're going to say "No, we expect no better results in future trials" even if that's what they really thought.

They just put up that FAQ as a "please stfu" to all the people who email them constantly with the same damn questions.

I was wondering why people are worried that the upcoming data might disappoint? Didn't they already show in their phase 1 results that it provides ''long term'' maintenance with minimal regrowth? Is that not enough for most people? Because I would sacrifice my firstborn for long term (sideless) maintenance.
