Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the data wasn't lining up with what they expected then they would have already known this for a couple years considering it is data from a 5 year time frame. Therefore, I highly doubt it is a last second delay due to a sudden realization that the data isn't good. Furthermore, they wouldn't have advertised there being 5 year data in the first place if it wasn't good.

Can everyone please stop speculating and just wait for the data to come out? THANKS FELLAS (*cough* @nameless *cough*) ;)

I took the liberty of highlighting the part of your above post that's also speculation. Notice that almost the entirety of your post is speculation. Why tell me to stop speculating when *cough* you *cough* are also speculating?

I think your real issue is that you only want to see positive speculation;).

speculators like nameless are welcomed here,
He had some valid points, DP inductivity issue, failed to release data in Feb due to which the threads title sounds awkward now.
I get it we shouldn't jump to conclusions but these signs aren't good.
It looks like they follow our forums a lot.
I hope they realise this failure on their part to release data in February will affect their stock in these coming months.

A reputed company avoids false promises. Investors will bear this in their mind.

I respect people's opinion in here, but I really get tired of hearing people attempt to gain validity to their assumptions by saying my job is all about recognizing these signs, or those signs. You may be right, and you may be wrong, but you know as much as anyone, because it's an assumption. Replicel knows, so let's allow them to share the facts that they have, and maybe we can all quit attempting to guess, and speculate. I work for companies that have failed to hit deadlines too, and that didn't always reflect the worst case scenarios some are trying to paint here.

no, I emailed him. He said they are still working on that.
and yes, it was epithelium stem cells.
plus, he said they would rather announce their progress globally through media and research papers and not via emails.

Right after you gripe about someone else prefacing his post with a short statement about his experience related to the discussion you did the exact same thing. I highlighted your statement above where you did it. First you complain about it and then you yourself do it. And for the record, I don't mind one bit that you did it.

And why don't you just be honest about it and admit that the reason you're ragging on him about it is because when he did it he inferred something negative about Replicel's delay?

How long ago did you email him and how long ago did he respond?

Has he said he's no longer on track for a 2020 release?

I emailed him on 8th Feb with some basic questions covering the topics like
1. the multiplication issue
2. time required to solve it
3. and about their release date

but he gave me a generic response which I have already posted.
His reply date - 16th Feb

Blah, blah, blah, blah.

There's nothing wrong with posters prefacing their posts/opinions with their personal experience regarding the issue being discussed. As a matter of fact, doing so helps to qualify a poster as someone with knowledge/experience that's related to the issue that's being discussed.

Hey man cry all you want about replicel, I only have one condition. Cry about the facts, not your fears! I don't care if you criticize replicel with factual evidence, my beef is that you assume the worst in everything, and beat a horse that's been dead for weeks. Just give it a rest, we'll see facts soon.

Hey Thomps1523, I'll say whatever I want to say and you can shove your "conditions" up your ***.

Replicel's recent delay is a new event. Replicel's recent delay IS a new fact. Replicel's recent delay IS new factual evidence. And if you had any brains you'd realize all of this without me having to tell you. Replicel's recent delay IS good cause for discussion so STFU.

Guys, I've been following this industry for the last 8 years and every "expected date" failed.

Follica and Histogen have been on the game for almost 10 years. Initially the products they were developing were called "cures" and now are being branded as "alternative treatments"... And the release date for both products is still unknown.

Minoxidil and Propecia were released in 1997 and shockingly Ketoconazole was discovered in 1976.

With this said, just don't get your hopes up.

Delays definitely happen in the case of some aspects of drug development and delivery but this feels different.

I don't recall another time when there was a delay in simply reporting study results when there had been ample time to get the data collected.

All delays shouldn't be lumped together.

If there's no data in Q1 at all then the hairloss industry truly is a f*****g tease. First the brotzu sh*t release, now delays with replicel. I'm hoping for good things from follica and hoping that they actually demonstrate some type of efficacy when presenting on March 4th. If not then I'll truly be disappointed.
