I will contact Replicel somewhere in the next 2 days again so if there are any questions, post them here and be as specific as possible please.

Ask if the holdup in Europe will also effect the trial in Japan.

Also, confirm that the manufacturing problem will indeed postpone the trial kickoff for Europe until roughly the end of 2016.

Just sent the questions your guys posted. Hopefully they will respond as quick as they did the first time.

By the way:

NEWS RELEASE
RepliCel Receives European Patent for its RCI-02 Dermal Injector
January 11, 2016

The first device being developed under this patent is designed for injecting hyaluronic acid as a dermal filler. The device is also being developed for the injection of RepliCel's RCH-01 and RCS-01 products. “This patent grant is an important milestone for the company as it underpins the commercial value of RCI-02 for the improved delivery of any product injected through the skin," states CEO Buckler.

*********talk user Carvo posted the following:

"I contacted them last week and that delay only affects the german trial. In Japan is gonna start in a brief time.

In addition, their trials of the skin rejuvenation and tendinosis are going as expected. The patent of their injection device too.

Expect a fast development in Europe if the other trials go well. Their income to spend in R+D will considerably raise."

Feeling overly optimistic about Replicel. Caught myself earlier today at looking at the prices for a flight ticket to Tokyo haha.

What is the theory/mechanics behind Replicel and its ability to fight male pattern baldness. How is it supposed to work?

In general and short - The dermal sheath that surrounds the outside of the hair follicle contains progenitor cells that maintain and regenerate the dermal papilla, which is a key for hair growth. Replicel provides a cell therapy - Dermal sheath cup cells are isolated from the back of the scalp and are replicated and then reintroduced into balding areas.
I think their treatment is aiming on MAINTAIN the hair. We will still need a treatment to stimulate the lost hair, for regrowth (maybe Histogen?)

Unfortunately Replicel mentioned that it is strictly prohibited to copy their direct communication... The only thing I can tell regarding the trials in Japan will start this year. For the German trials this depends entirely on the submission of the paperwork to the PEI.

I contacted Shiseido as well now...

Nevertheless, I think we just have to accept 2 things: 1) the product will not be commercialized within the next 2 years; 2) it might be commercialized in 2018/2019 but then only in Japan. For Europe I expect it will be take at least 5-6 years longer given the FDA legislation.

Personally, I would be ok with that IF it will be the side effect-free maintenance miracle product we are all hoping for...

Well, by 2019 I'll be probably NW7, so let's hope finasteride will help me to save what I have for the next 2-3 years :X

Yes, I would not wait on it but take action as soon as possible.

I experience some sides on finasteride myself (on it for 2 months) like slightly lower libido, slightly weaker erections and loss of morning wood.

I will slowly tapper off the drug now and then wait for everything to go back to normal. Then I will start again but with a very low dosis to see what my sweet spot will be.
But even if I will keep some sides at a lower dosage I still think I will keep on using it (unless it becomes to unbearable of course). If will gladly trade 3 years of lower sex drive for a lifetime of having a full head of hair! For me, sex is important for let's say 1 hour every week whereas my confidence affects me from the second I wake up till the second I fall asleep.

Im 3 months on finasteride, I got pretty much the same sides as you described. My libido is kinda lower (If I was horny 24/7 before finasteride, Now I am horny less), watery semen, but not as much as I thought it would be, and less strong erections, but still are strong.
If these are the sides I'll continue to have, I can live with that (as long as it is not going any worse). BUT, as for now, I can't notice any improvement in my hair. The opposite is true - Since finasteride, it seems like my hairloss has been accelerated. My hair looks much thinner than before. I really hope I'll see some improvement by the 6th month mark.

It is not uncommon to still shed at 3 months so no worries. Have you tried lowering your dose yet?

That's what bother me too with finasteride. I can cope with the side effects it gave me at 1MG. However it isn't ideal. If I'm on finasteride I lack morning wood and those spontaneous erections. My libido drive is lower too. Just like you I can handle these sides , but still it isn't ideal. I'm still young too so my hormone levels are still high but what if I get older and my T starts to diminish? If I'm not on finasteride I have that sick libido drive every man should have. Finasteride just "dampens" it. Less strong erections too. No problems with getting it up though, but I do notice the difference. I'm definitely not a hypochondriac too, actually I'm the completely opposite of it.

I implement kinda the same strategy like you though. Minimum maintenance for the few next years. I HOPE (lol!) for Replicel. If Replicel doesn't work out I'm confident I'll have other strategies to work within 5 years for (permanent) maintenance.

I want to be freed from the Androgenetic Alopecia curse basically and I will.

BTW did Replicel say anything regarding my question??? Thanks.

So I guess the ballpark for it to come out in the US would be around 2020? No way to get this through back channels like RU either in the future?

Just wondering. Do you think when Replicel finally arrives to the market and it is indeed capable of stopping hairloss and maybe even provide some regrowth the demand would be so high for it that there will be years of waiting in line if you are not fast/rich enough?

Firstly, the word needs to spread around. Most people aren't waiting for Replicel / Histogen like we are. Secondly, I'm sure capacities will expand fast enough to service whoever wants it done. After all, there's money at stake! Finally, such treatments aren't complicated procedures like surgeries, that is, requiring highly qualified operators and thus, create a bottleneck that would make for a long waiting line.

That's my take on it anyway.

She told me she would answer that question tomorrow because she had to ask one of the researchers. Will let you know ASAP.

So is this the real deal or what?

I heard Histogen had great results but then people called out the results pictures as being very misleading.

Still nothing back unfortunately.

That sucks. Don't they know my hair is falling out? Seriously though, when I joined Replicel was hailed as the cure. I'm scared Swoop is right and this will turn out to be a bust. Then what is there to look forward to?
