Fwiw, at 23 I had sides (or nocebos) when i tried finasteride for a month. Got emotional and felt anxiety. Stopped taking it.
I was bald for 9 years because I was afraid.
Now (at 32/33) if anything I have good sides from finasteride and grew most of my hair back. Libido as high as ever. Any anxiety I had is gone.
I think if I wasn't such a b**ch I probably could have had hair through my 20s. That or I did have real sides and my body has changed since then to where I react better to the meds.
