If my use of estradiol was put at a halt, my hair shouldn’t continue to fall out because estradiol permanently changes your skull shape when you are my age. Theoretically, hair loss does have ties with scalp tension, and that’s due to androgens, so being castrated would prevent tension from occurring and it would prevent androgens from destroying my follicles.

Although, castration along with bicalutamide could be a permanent cure since you will have castration ranges of testosterone whilst having the androgen receptors in your scalp being blocked and degraded.

Obviously no one would take this drug in an ideal world. The problem is, this is the only thing that really works that we have at the moment.

For me, it was choosing between being slick bald in my twenties versus rolling the dice with this pill. I knew the side effects of going slick bald were guaranteed: depression and self-loathing were right around the corner. So I'm extremely grateful this drug exists and helped me avoid that fate (for now at least).

If I knew I was going to cap off at norwood 3 I wouldnt even take this thing. I would just rock my receded hairline and do the best I could with it. The problem is I was going to norwood 6, and fast. The difference between a thick norwood 3 and a norwood 6 are two different universes.

Pigeon no one is doubting there are a few who experience very real serious side effects from Finasteride 1MG. However there are guys who have been taking it twenty plus years and are fine. We need to be objective and avoid extremes on both sides.
