Ray Peat says a lot of interesting things, like the danger of pufa and vegetable oils

But Ray Peat says a LOT of sh*t too, like drinking 1 liter orange juice per day, drinking several liter of milk per day, eating lot of starch and grains, which are know to be incredibly inflammatory for the human body...

Ray peat says estrogen is the mainly culprit of male pattern baldness and DHT has nothing to do with it LOL

This can't be real? And people actually take this guy seriously.

Well, he isn't the only one saying that, it's backed by other studies, scientists and doctors. And to be fair, some people following his advise recovered their hair so who knows. Ray doesn't say DHT doesn't cause hair loss, he says DHT isn't the source of the problem. The PHH community has a bunch of people that were diagnosed with MBP and still managed to reverse their hair loss with hard massages and very specific diet only.

I guess it's all about finding the right proportions. Something in small quantity could be incredibly inflammatory, while the same sh*t in big quantity could be anti-inflammatory.

Only downside with ray's recommendations is that they're very challenging, like drinking 40 cups of coffee per day. I'm not even sure I could force myself into drinking more than 10 cups

At least thats what he said.

A lot of enlightenment thinkers also exhibited high coffee consumption; Voltaire & Kant are said to have drunk 40-50 cups of coffee a day. Beethoven too.

Isn't that just because of rapid weight loss? Getting proper nutrition is harder on keto as well.
I believe I’ve read that it is because hair was designed to operate better off of a glucose based diet, and that a keto diet on fat trashes hair health

Depends on the kind of fat I think Brits have awful hair cause they consume bacon and sausages

Fish and quality meat eating people (Japanese) bald far less.

Wheat based people still bald alot (meds/arabs)
