So, by 2022 we will have this and Cb , FDA approved. Keeping in mind that there only two drugs approved for FDA ( minoxidil and finasteride ) and last one was on 1997 ! this are simple amazing news . Specially for young people, and even more, this two drugs were created specially to be use it for Androgenetic Alopecia, so It will be the first time in the human history of two drugs developed for Androgenetic Alopecia approved by FDA and EMA .

Sorry , but if a drug stop hair loss, without touching androgens, without side effects, and, even more, it give you a 10 :/: regrowth,it is a amazing drug.
I wonder if after having hair transplant, surgeons will recommend these options to maintain hair instead of finasteride

Confused to why you've mentioned CB here? Cassiopea have been very very slow with clinical trials, they haven't even finished recruiting for phase 3. Kintor Pharma has made more progress this year than cassiopea have in 4 years, I wouldn't be surprised if they released if kintor releases pyrilutamide before cassiopea releases cb. Also there's the big question around why theres a huge drop in cbs efficacy after the 6th month.

Cause , they got the approve for their Acne version. And cause I am with male pattern baldness, since 1996, so I know how slow all this , specially, After Merck approved their """"""" none side effects""""""""""""""" and all the sh*t propaganda about " DHT is the evil " that most laboratories saw imposible to compite with that . It took decades, and there still finasteride brainless groupies , to understand that Propecia is dangerous .
Kintor is from China, I will not count any drug comming from China, plus there are just in phase 1 , they still don't know if is safe or not.
On /clinicaltrials.gov there are only 4 clinical trials with this drugs, all oral, 3 for cancer and the last one for Covid. All them are phase 1 , "recruiting Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics"
China is very corrupt , I will not believe any of their spouse resulta, FDA and EMA, even with their mistakes, are much more seriously than China equivalent . Well, except for Merck fiasco with Vioxx and Propecia :) .

God i never heard about this molecule ! What are main differeces between Pyrilutamide and CB 03 01 ? Maybe can be cheaper to produce...more potent ?

10 percent hair growth in just 3 months. The study ended after 3 months, maybe after a year you will have significantly more growth. in addition, these 10 percent are only an average of all participants. There were also many Norwood 7 patents.
Those who were younger than 40 and Norwood 4 had the best effect. They had a growth of over 20 percent in just 3 months.

That's great

Finally someone who noticed this fact, wich is the more important.

Still 2022 is super ambitious for CB, I would say 6 months for recruiting for trials, 2 years of trials, 6 months to gather data and apply to FDA and EMA, 2 years for FDA and EMA to approve, so 5 years in total from now, 2025 if all goes well.

The phase 2 results made me lose hope in CB

"2 years for FDA and EMA" It not take that much, if they made the things right, it is 6 month.
Anyway, yes, they are going slow. I don't consider it lost, cause, after all, they got the first antiandrogen approved ever, with the ok for the Acne version.

Uhm, that's not the case unless it's under a prioritised review which is usually only the case for life saving medicines. The last one I can think of is a cystic fibrosis medicine named Kaftrio which still took one entire year to approve...

Also interestingly winlevi wasn't applied to EMA? Unless I'm wrong and they still haven't approved it.

So do we know whether sm04554 actually stops hair loss progression?

Is it going to be better than finasteriade/minoxidil?

I know the Wnt pathway is being targeted for anti-aging stuff so I assume it's not going to be detrimental to health

Phase 3 results will be more insightful for how well it works, also comparing to minoxidil is pointless as minoxidil efficacy from person to person tends to be wildly different.

We need standard deviation
