I’ve mixed up the topical as per instructions, how much do you use when applying? And how do you measure? minoxidil dropper?

I normally use a minoxidil dropper and just cover my scalp really, no specific measurements.

Just to double check by "mixed up the topical", hopefully you didn't just mix the four together and give it a shake? Sandalore is insoluble in water so if you mixed all four together at once it most likely produced a precipitate and became ineffective

You have to mix the ethanol with the sandalore, leave for 48 hours (shake multiple times a day during the 48h) then add PG and distilled water.

I followed this guide/experiment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/comments/9rbf7b/sandalore_a_scientific_homemade_approch/

The amounts on that page confuse me, I was using the formula in this thread. 20 Eth 20 water 10 PG 5ml Sandlore

5ML Sandalore? That's 10%, that's a lot?

Regarding the amounts, there's no set ratio we know that works so we're trying different things.

According to the study using 10% could have a reverse effect.

dude it was already explained several times in this thread alone that this was a misinterpretation and is not the case.... i just can’t believe that people are still claiming this nonsense

I have 84ml Grenier Stemoxydin. I'm interested in putting in a sandalor. I thought about putting a 0.5% inside the bottle. what do you think? (Maybe its too much because every use of stemo is 5-6 ml.)

I think those instructions are just to sell more product. 4ml of that is going to run right off the top of your head. I use 1-2ml

Where do you buy the active agent? I used essential oil but it didn't do sh*t.

Hard to tell because right after purchasing it I went on hrt and I was already on all kind of sh*t.. My guess is that it couldn't hurt but don't expect miracles. I stopped using it but I wouldn't stop minoxidil so ymmv. You gotta be selective in your protocol not to turn your bathroom into a Pharmacy.

Maybe. On the other hand, the product contains up to 4% stemoxydine, according to Amazon seller. Plus I'm Norwood 6, so less than 4ml I'm not sure it will be effective.

I don't know what matters - the amount of material (Sandalor) or its percentage of the total.

It's still 4% no matter how much you put on your head. You only need to put enough to soak your follicles in it. You can put 100ml of 4% solution, and it won't do any more good than 1ml of 4% solution if the follicle is covered in the solution both ways. Once you go past 2ml you're not doing much because it's the concentration that matters.
