Still not true.
Sure if you live in a place like Norway where the Krone stands very high, you could afford that going elsewhere. But if you make average pay in an average country, you will NOT be able to afford it. Try telling a Canadian that $7-12,000 is affordable when the average income is about 46-48,000 per year with the government taking away $15,000 of that. You're left with about 31-33k. Rent costs about $1,000 at the low end. Then food. Internet here is not cheap, most people pay around $60 for 15mbit connection WITH bandwidth limits and overage charges. Mobile phones its the same problem, most people pay close to $100 if not more. Then car insurance, also very expensive, $100/month minimum assuming you've got a good record and a good provider. Then the car payments, maintenance, gas (expensive, about $1.05 per litre). I drive about 170km per day to work and spend about 500+ dollars per month on gas. Then theres my student loan, because education here is NOT free, I pay $155/month.
This doesnt even include stuff for the home, clothes, hygiene, electricity and maintenance fees for your house/condo/apartment, property taxes, cable television or money spent on basic LEISURE to enjoy life.
You think it's cheap? You're privileged man. It took me a while to save up a chunk of money to have enough for a downpayment for a condo, and I make more than the national average despite the fact that my car is paid off and i dont have a 'luxury' lifestyle.
Haha, $1.05 litre of gas? That's cheaper than here in Eastern Europe.
Complain about $33.000/year? I guess you would be shocked to know that here, most people salaries are $3000 /year!!
Oh yes, and , paradoxically, here the litre of gas is almost 2$!!!!
But still...170 km to work? That's pretty much...
So yes, if a hair transplant would cost a quarter of my annual income, i would say that's EXTREMELY cheap... So if i were to consider going to western europe at ******** or another, i would need the annual income of 2-3 years just for 1500 grafts... Imagine it:2-3 years i would need to save every penny, to afford a hair transplant.
So tell me hair transplant are not expensive. Some people really talk nonsense some days. They know nothing about "the real world", they only look at themselves.
Internet? It's cheap here, fortunately: 10$ /month.
Computer? This one i write now is bought in feb 2008, haha...maybe in 2-3 years i will buy a new one. Why? Here we don't "bath" in money. So you use a thing(for instance, computer( until it practically dies out. You don';t change it at 1-2 years, just because you become bored and want to see the new models/operating systems. I am still with Windoes XP, by the way.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like i'm starving to death, no, i have a normal life with what i need, but really, at the end of month/year, i have no money left to save, and i am very careful with what i spend and how much i spend on anything.
Life is tougher here in eastern EU, maybe that's why hairloss is not the biggest problem.
When you have an easy life, with good incomes, i get that , in absence of other struggles, you could obsess about your appearance.
