Does anyone know the efficacy of seti/fevi?

Not strictly relevant but if both rch-01 and Fevi work like a better finasteride without sides then surely we’re so close (presuming rch-01 works).

It all seems a bit too good to be true atm, although admittedly sometimes it feels the complete opposite.

Aside from being several years away the main issues are availibilty and price. Tsuji himself has said that at release only vetted skilled hair transplant surgeons will perform the surgery. Remember cloned hair still must be transplanted.

On top of that it's obvious price is going to be ridiculous . You would be paying to literally clone hair, a cutting edge technology, the price on that isn't going to be cheap. That's not including the price of surgery itself. That means paying a skilled transplant surgeon in one of the most devolped countries in the world. This isn't Turked were you can get a good transplant for like ten grand.

This is something that for a long period of time will only realistically be available to those that have a large disposable income. Something that a very large majority here don't have. That's unless they are willing to take out a loan.
If that means having my life back, I'll get the money by hook or by crook.

because i am waiting for a REAL cure, but because i am realistic i know it won't be out for years, so I take finasteride and keep my hair. you can keep dreaming for a cure while off finasteride while your hair all falls out, that's up to you.

anti androgens, minoxidil, nizoral and maybe dermarolling + hair transplants are all we will have for 10 years at least. might as well make the most of it. i'll get a few hair transplant's and will have amazing hair while people are here posting "hairsquared cloning results out next may 2042" and "folliclone entering FDA phase II in 2045"

It will be horrendously expensive, few professionals will be licensed to offer it, they'll be booked for a looong time, etc.

I think you're wrong in saying "all we will have" in the sense of "being commercially available". Follica and Shiseido are all within 2-3 years away at the most. Hair multiplication, and even maybe 3D printing of follicles will probably commercialized within the next few years as they anticipate, but will be unavailable to most for years yet.

So while I can agree that the very best options are out of reach for quite some time yet, better options that will solve the issue for a lot of people really are not far off.

why 2-3 yrs for follica and shiseido? why not right f*****g now? we both know why. this "adding another n years bubble every 6 months" trick is getting old.

wasnt it almost a sure thing for 2018 release a couple of months ago? dont make me dig posts up, even yours.

follica behaves like they are giving up, not like they are preparing a breakthrough product. shiseido is not much different either.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has noticed that. From several members. It’s like, you know we see you, right?

But yeah this is such sh*t. I can’t believe this is my life.

I mean, I know people have good intentions and only want to remain optimistic, but jesus christ.

These companies dont deserve a single line to be written about them in the general public/media. In fact it should be forbidden by law.

You have trial data to report? Fine.

You have an official release date? Great.

You have an announcement about possibly getting closer to enhancement of the product candidate for eventual commercialization? f*** off, nobody cares.

This kind of sh*t is so f*****g juvenile. "Why not right f*****g now!?" because obviously it can't be, shitheads.

Go ahead and dig up posts from "a couple of months ago". A 2018 release year has been their best-case scenario that they have said since 2016. At most, they had a six month setback.

Shiseido is in the same boat, and has had no setback.

This is something all these babies on here don't seem to get: Nothing has changed for the worse. Everything is chugging along as they have stated, and any setback has been pretty minor. You're all just impatient. It's f*****g mind blowing how you people will hear about some new discovery or something that's going to clinical trials and you're surprised that it will be several years before it might be available — I mean, Jesus fuckin' Christ.

Look it up. There has been no promise of release for these companies that has been pushed back time and again like it's Duke Nukem Forever like you all seem to think it is. Follica carried out trials and never even announced them. Shiseido made the deal five years ago, and the "earliest possible release" as 2018 was stated years ago, and that's still the truth.

Everything is so far on track, it was never said to be here "now", but you morons act like the sky is falling because it's not here now.

Well. Second coming of Jesus is also still on track so far.

“Everything is chugging along,” is not how I would decsribe the hair loss treatment industry. No matter how you slice it.
