I need to read the study and see what the ratios are etc... but this seems pretty easy to get. I also need to research about possible side effects. Anyone got any good articles on it?

I'm so sorry. It really is no fun. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find some solace in not being alone though. I hope things get better. Btw, I appreciate your posts; been reading them long before I actually joined the forum.

Think I'm gonna go get some SSRI tomorrow tbh. Either that or...yeah.
Be aware that some ssri’s Can cause hairloss, but it’s not overly common. I was on drugs for depression for years with no issues.

aparently, broztu sheep get extremely triggered with this topic. Just presented this stuff there and the dislikes were raining like hell...
PS: just presented it, didnt take any sides (if tought it worked or not)... Well, guess what? Brotzu sheep, the people who think faith cures hairloss, didn't expect anything less from such non scientific people

Because we've all seen these headlines 1000 times before. I hope I'm wrong, I really, really do.

Oh, and because I'm pissy because my roommate just called out my depression, which I attribute to hair loss and taking 749294 supplements and having a regimen/styling that takes 2+ hours daily.

Sorry for pessimism. I'm on the verge of a serious breakdown. According to him, hair loss isn't a big deal and I need counselling to "get to the root of the problems I have". He's a blond NW1.

I’m exactly the same as you man, take loads of supplements and i’m late for everything because my OCD dictates that i take 2 hours to fully get ready - most of it is taken up trying to maintain a fake NW1 using hair dryer, straighteners and a black cloud of toppik...

And i have kept up this con job for so many years that everyone thinks i’m NW1 so i can’t suddently brush the hair back revealing the dying hairline...

Sorry for the hijack

Do you have a photo of your hair before and after? I’m just interested to see how good you make it look. I have to strategically over bald bits and colour my scalp in. Oh the joys.

RB15:

What treatments are you using to treat your hairloss?

Speaking about depression:
I have used around 50 different supplements or something to treat my mood swings, social anxiety throughout the years.
You know what worked the best besides antidepressants?
Pumpkin seeds and saffron.
In my experience saffron works good for acute low periods of self estem while the effects from pumpkin seeds take a little longer, but it gives me better mental stability and a more even effect.

Great as snacks too ^^

I have got a thinning crown but no pictures so use toppik there and a bit on the fringe, what takes me so long is that my hair grows really flat to my head so i need to use hair straighteners to spike it up and give it volume, it’s a bit embarrassing when i take longer than my girlfriend to get ready...

First of all it’s WAY-316606 not Way-316066.
wow, this changes everything !
Secondly, this is a paragraph taken from the Manchester University website:
Obviously the origin of this drug is irrelevant, what i meant is that when they sell it , they will patent/market it as a hairloss drug not an osteoperosis drug. that's what the study is all about.

@Buzz Baldrin

I have been on propecia for 4 years and Minoxidil for 5 years, recently experienced some unexpected regrowth / thickening of the hairline that i can attribute to daily peppermint capsules

Ok, so you are fighting in by the book at least.

A couple of years back my hairline went to sh*t really fast (was using minoxidil, propecia, nizoral) so I decided to add a topical dht inhibitor. I went from a norwood 3 in pretty advanced stage to a rock solid norwood 1,5 (got like 8 years back of thickening in 3 months).
Despite this, I would be a bit hesistant to recommend this to others as it comes with unknown risks.
In a couple of years we might have that CB-03-01 cream out and then most male pattern baldness cases should be fixed (if caught early)

Yeah, i got to a stage like most do when i just had to bite the bullet and try finasteride even after reading the horror stories, then shortly after, again like most people do - i wished i’d took it sooner...

So my situation is that i have been rocking a fake NW1 for years, got myself in too deep, and now have to spend the best part of 2 hours getting ready for work every morning and turning up late...

Got a consultation with Dr B I S A N G A next week to discuss a small FUE

What topical teeatment was this? Are you still maintaining those gains?

Good luck :)
Thinking about jumping on the finasteride again, but will give "Zix" and another topical inhibitor a try.

Never though about trimmin it down to 6 mm once just to see how it looks?
It can be quite liberating.

It was RU58841 (Used like 100 mg daily dissolved in 1,3 ml consisting of isopropyl (mainly) and regular rogaine.

I applied the RU solution first and then half an hour later applied the rogaine.

Since stopping it february last year (and stopping finasteride half a year before that) I am back at baseline, so no maintaing after quitting sadly.

Met my current wife / gf (after being single and frankly pretty lonely for almost a decade) so I thought "to hell with it" :)

Will try anything besides RU today as I am not sure that it is safe (and might pose a real danger when having kids in the "oven" etc etc)

Ah okay. Did well on RU hair wise as well but sides were way too brutal.

Would be cool if you could post some pics for the forum of such dramatic RU regrowth. There honestly very few legit RU results around, despite how many have tried it.

Congrats on finding your special lady. Awesome that it gives you some peace.
