I was chatting with a woman I work with today in one of our offices while we were doing some closing lists that we do every night.. We were talking about the differences of men and women in a non-heated debate. I told her women have it easier than men in a variety of ways.. She asked why I thought so.. I told her to just look at averages. Men die on average younger than women.. Men are 11 times more likely than women to commit suicide.. She replied saying "Men do seem to stress more.... and let their hair fall out and yadda yadda yadda...".. LET. Let their hair fall out. She seemed to think it was a choice.. I have solid hair at the moment with good styling, so I know she wasn't taking shots. She's a middle aged woman with a husband who is bald I believe.. She told me he shaves his head one time.

This thread is kinda pointless, but I just couldn't help but think of this forum when she said that.

This colleague of yours is not very lucid.

You have to consider two things, yet:

- Her husband went bald and probably isn't as attractive to her as he was before. Some women consider this as a "betrayal" subconsciously.
- Even when this "betrayal" is conscious, it may be a natural response to the disease entering their lives. It's much easier to blame the husband than to blame luck, evolution, Mother Earth, God, etc.

Bottom line: baldness sucks for wives, not only for husbands.
