I was talking about in society in general. In most instances I couldn't care less what somebody looks like. But it is just the way it is. Look at it this way. You have two women, one has all the traits you find unattractive(fat, ghetto, not white), and the other is in your eyes a perfect 10. You know absolutely zero about either. How would you feel if the unattractive girl put you down? The same question about the attractive girl. I know both would sting, but you would feel worse about the attractive girls insults. Why is that? Because you value the attractive girls opinion much more. Better yet what if the unattractive girl said you were hot, but the hot girl said you looked like crap. Or if the attractive girl said you were hot, but the fat chick said you looked like ****. In either case you would disregard the slobs opinion and place more value on what the hot girl thought of you. Ask yourself why.

Most of us would like to believe this isn't true because most of us have a trait(baldness) that society finds unattractive but unfortunately it is the truth. Most of us probably place a higher value on looks than most of society.

ok good, i thought you felt hot people were actually worth more somehow. and no, on a primal level ofc i care more about hot people but thats everyone like you said. because i have an aesthetic defect i consciously check my bias and look out for other aesthetically challenged people.

i tipped a fat black girl the other day. honestly felt really good because fat black girls are generally considered bottom of the barrell in looks. that could have been the one nice thing she received that whole day.

anyways truth isn't statistical. there's no reason attractive people are inherently more valuable than ugly people.
