Man I've felt many of the same things you guys feel, at varying degrees over the last 6 years or so, but some of the self-talk going on here is fvcking depressing. It's not AIDS guys...

It's indeed not AIDS, at least with AIDS, your appearance remains normal and you can still live a normal life.
Also, apparently neither can get laid without lying about their condition.AIDS breaks down muscle tissue, and gradually destroys the body over time. HIV people loose a lot of muscle over time, it's known as muscle wasting syndrome. That's why they are prescribed HGH, and low doses of anabolics to prevent HIV-related muscle breaking effects.
In a way HIV patients, and male pattern baldness sufferers can relate. Both have a deteriorating disease
most of them does, its important to get laid. Also, apparently neither can get laid without lying about their condition.
I realize that some poeple may have compounding "issues" such as being overweight, shy, unattractive by conventional standards, etc, but really? You can't get laid if you are bald? I call bull****. I'm 28, been losing my hair in some sense since I was probably 20 (first time the barber showed me my thinning crown), and have gone through all the emotions, but fellas! SACK UP! I know I'm new to the board but sitting around in a dark room talking to your glass of cheap whiskey about how much your life sucks is not going to make you feel any better. We all know women love confidence; in fact everybody is drawn to it. You gotta find a way to lift yourself up.

Women love:
1) Looks
2) Money
3) Status
Chasing girls your own age as a young nw5 bald man is an excersize in frustration and futility. Unless your a glutten for punishment who enjoys being actively shunned and ridiculed then you will soon realize it's not worth the humiliation. Let's see how your cofidence holds when you can barely look at yourself in the mirror being made fun of everyday by random people. Talk to me when your actually bald because all your hair is clouding your judgement. All three of those things are changeable to a degree. One thing is for certain and that is feeling sorry for yourself won't help one bit. If you are stuck in front of a screen with a bottle of Jergins, then get off the internet and chase real chicks. Lord knows I've delved deep in to the world of interwebs pron, but one thing is for certain (at least for me) the amount of pron watched and the amount of real women I spend time with are inversely correlated.
Confidence doesn't frame your face, bro
Why did you get off rogaine???
did you noyice changes in scalp greassiness when buzzing hair short?
Confidence doesn't frame your face, bro
Confidence is a byproduct.
