Ok. Seems like we all fly to Japan for treatment.

If your rule is lengthy and stringent like the US, then this CXXC5 thing is still a very long way to go

Are bald guys like me going to be rejected by Korean girls if I were to live there permanently in Seoul? Do I stand a chance against those kpop thin guys and their supersayan haircuts?

Yeah, stop with that bullshitting, to the point. It seems that there are more presentations about Androgenetic Alopecia than just KY Choi. Any idea how to get these 2 presentations?

Prsentation is in Korea? I know there is at least one Korean member here, perhaps he can pursue it directly. See if transcripts or cds can be purchased.

Alright, found it, microneedling again

http://www.oatext.com/Therapeutic-e...drogenetic-alopecia-a-split-study.php#Article

Results: Phototrichogram of Cellcurin and normal saline treated side on scalp showed 27.1/cm2 and 5.4/ cm2 increase in hair density and 2.7µm and -0.6µm change in hair diameter, respectively. These results were statistically significant (p<0.05) except for hair diameter in the normal saline side. With respect to density and diameter, Cellcurin was significantly more effective in imparting its effect than normal saline (p<0.05). Cellcurin treatment was compared with SGF57 which is a GFC without FGF9, and was found to be more effective in increasing hair density as compared to SGF57 (p<0.05).

Conclusion: Cellcurin treatment with microneedling was found to be effective and safe and seemed to be more effective than SGF57. Further research is necessary to confirm the results of the present study and to determine the most effective factor of GFC.

My thought as well but I’d like a native to confirm. Who knows, maybe I have a shot. You know, baldness is so lame. Even my backup plan of being a monk is a no go because all monks have long hair and beards. Nobody likes a bald monk fml :/
Regardless of if you stood a chance based on physical appearance you don't seem to have the self-esteem regardless of what you look like, and if that's you in your ability you could have it WAY worse. Before I ever even considered that I could lose my hair my sister who is very pretty started dating a fat bald guy who honestly wouldn't have been all that attractive with hair or on a diet, but he made it work because he didn't view himself that way. In fact he was with another attractive girl prior to dating my sister and he begain losing his hair at 14. It was a detriment, but we face tons of those in life and we dont add on top of them as a direct result of their existence like many bald/balding men do with their perceived image insecurities. If the best thing you would have going for you if you had hair, was hair, then you don't have enough going for you in the first place. CHANGE THAT. You are in direct control of just about every single other thing in your life and just because there's one thing you can't change doesn't mean you should forfit your happiness entirely. My Aunt used to live in Japan so I can at least tell you about their views and they find American men attractive, and part of what they find attractive about them is their expressive personalities, so if you were going to try for that you'd be doing yourself a massive disservice by letting your lack of hair disturb that. The hottest girl I went to school with was half Asian, her mom was Japanese and her dad was a white guy who has to shave his head. You HAVE to change your outlook or you'll never make it, and I know you want to make it so why admit defeat in the face of desire? It's either the effort to adapt your mindset, or the sadness of your current situation, both suck. Choose whichever youre least likely to regret in five years.

Although I am not American, thanks for your kind words my friend. I’ve always dreamt of moving to Seoul, it has nothing to do with hair loss. But in case there is a huge stigma about bald people I’d like to know beforehand. Apparently there isn’t any :)

For fucks sake, could you left this thread for scientific discussion? If you want to shitpost, then brotzu is that way ->

My prediction for tomorrow:

-Did well on mice
-pictures of example on human 2019
-slightly better than propecia
-available only in Korea starting 2023-2025

I hope I'm wrong though I really do. This is the most interesting hair science going on to me right now.

...well this was a bust. We don't even get any coverage. Maybe it just takes a while to release the presentation? But I feel like if there were anything great someone would have heard about it or said something.
