Well that's great news because apparently the donor is susceptible to dht in dupa so where would they take healthy hairs from to clone them?I've read the entire thread but must have missed that part
It doesn’t matter if it’s susceptible or not for the IPSC derive hair follicles . Whether or not stemson will be able to create DHT resistant hairs is still a question they don’t even have the answer to. Either way your hair should last a long time after treatment. There was an interview where the ceo said he doesn’t know if the hairs will be DHT or not

The more pigs the better too?
Yes the more pigs, the more experiments they are able to do in an x amount of time.

The more experiments they are able to do, the better the chance of they delivering the cure, and in a shorter period of time.

imagine buying this hair from stemson, and then after two you start balding again....I see cure as something done once in a lifetime and you are sure the hair stays the same until you die

Yeah if the new cloned hair dies from dht then its pointless alot of dudes dont want to take finasteride and even finasteride stops working after around 10 years

Stemson's R&D team keeps growing. There are 13 people in it now, compared to I think 7 at the beginning of this year. This is a good sign, and they still have open job listings so we can expect the company will keep growing.

The more people we have working at this problem, the bigger the chances they will succeed.

I wish the best luck to them!

people on a mission should work at stemson, most of them have hair, for them it is just another point in their biography, jeff bezos should sponsor Tusji or Stemson, then the cure would be much faster

I don’t know about you leeches but I am going to arrange a group buy to inject cells directly into my scalp. I will report back in a few months (though I most likely won’t)

I contacted Stemson a month ago for an update. Nothing is going on right now. No word about the minipigs but didn't ask them regarding that.
They are a serious company with investors as board members, corporate governance and all that. Good try but they are not going to disclose anything meaningful to random people that inquire them. And the CEO is playing very conservatively with his words in public statements on ir interviews.

But we can get some indirect clues of what is going on with them. One of such clues is the fact that they are actively hiring and expanding their team, which is good. We can also infer what is going on there by analyzing the kind of professionals they are hiring too. That’s how we originally found out they had started pre clinical research with mini pigs.

Also, because of the leak of their series a pitch deck we found out they were already raising their next round while officially they had just announced they had secured their seed capital.

Hopefully the detectives here will find more interesting stuff about them until they come with their next official announcement.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here, explain it differently for my thick head to understand: "Also, because of the leak of their series a pitch deck we found out they were already raising their next round while officially they had just announced they had secured their seed capital."

What you say is hopeful and encouraging. Now in terms of investors, do they have publicly traded stock? If they can crack the code to regrow perfect cycling hair, anyone who invests in them will make a fortune!

Yes, the fact they hired a bunch of new people must mean something's up. This is the most telling thing you mention. Probably a number of aspects still need refining. Geez, imagine all this work needed just to reproduce hair!? If it's this difficult to do it makes a person wonder if G-d didn't want this, thus making it so difficult to engineer?

I wish they could sort of tell me that they are close at least, even if they don't want to give the details. Truth is if we're not at human trials, how close can we really be?

However the fact all this money is being allocated to them by investors must mean they (Stemson) either has a great publicity team or they share their information only with privileged people and groups who have funds to make a difference. Mind you, this is all speculation.
