There is a truism to human behaviour: if you suffer from something, you advocate against it and can relate to people who suffer from the same problem. I just came here on the forum for advice about my hair loss but I'm so surprised about the low self esteem people are having here and blaming everything on hairloss.

It's like you guys think there are only 2 kinds of people , normal and bald. And people with hair get all the chances.

I have never before reading all these comments thought about anyone differently or inferior because they are bald.
I would also not know anyone who would think like that.
Many of my friends are bald and have high jobs, lots of girls, great personalities, ...

Just work on your self esteem and maybe see a therapist because there's a whole world out there next to this forum

Just remember this: the life you'll have as a bald man will be a sub-version of the life you should have had with hair.

You won't be treated the same and you're a fool if you think it's going to be the case.

Sure, you can survive as a bald, you can have a girlfriend, a job, etc. but you won't have the same value and opportunities.

That's common sense really. Also, self-esteem does not exist. Your value is determined externally.

Other people decide whether you get to have "self-esteem" or not.

And people often decide that a bald man doesn't have much value and doesn't deserve much respect.

In other words, if you're bald, people will make sure that you know your place.

The less compensatory features, the harder it is, obviously, but if you were short, ugly, had a plethora of physical defects before baldness, don't tell me that baldness will make much of a difference.

That's what I believe before I went bald.

And I don't believe that even @Dante92 's world has come to an end, as many of us have told him before, he's doing better than most of us in areas that are not tied to looks.

At least my life was bad, but i wasn't mocked or laughed at. But now the mockery and insults will be nonstop because of baldness. There's a difference between a bad life and a f*****g shitty life. And Dante is good at his work, but what did it do for him ? He's still lonely, made fun of, unhappy, unsatisfied with his looks, shitty life overall. f*** money if you don't even have anything to do with it. I'd trade millions of dollars to have a satisfying, happy life with social life and a partner and kids and be satisfied with my looks, that sh*t is priceless. Are you as "fucked" as you say you are? Maybe. It's just hard for me to believe that there is not some exaggeration / BDD under all this desperation.

If i was older like 30 or something i wouldn't complain that much because i'm getting old and i'd have to deal with it as a grown man, but being bald at like 21 is a curse. My whole 20's will be ruined because of it, that's why i'm too depressed. Where i live, like 10% of people under 40 are bald, but more like 0.5% of people are bald at 20's, like i've never seen anyone but 2 persons in my entire life who are bald by 21 or something. It's common more in Europe than here, that's why i'll be fucked 10x more. I had a chance to immigrate to the US and i had another chance to immigrate to Australia and live with my father's friend and continue my education there, but i declined them because of my depression and baldness. I didn't wanna bother anyone with my problems and shitty life.

My best friend is Muslim and he is a great guy, despite the fact that he doesn't believe in dinosaurs, the moon landing, evolution, well, a big chunk of modern science, anything that contradicts the Quran.

But it doesn't prevent us from getting along, on the contrary, it makes for some great banter between us.

I finished the Quran yesterday and I was surprised about it not being as bad as I thought, the problems seem from many BS interpretations. And also because Muslims follow the Sunnah and the Hadith, while it is clearly said in the Quran that it is the definitive guide for Muslims and that nothing can be added to it or removed from it.

The worst I've read in it was the 100 whiplashes for people who were unfaithful, the Jews being called monkeys and pigs, God saying about Christian "may god annihilate them", but a lot of the Quran quotes were taken out of context, just like people often do with the Bible.

Now I know that Western Muslims do not get their crazy backward ideas from the Quran, but from the Hadith and the Sunnah. Ah well, I don't think I'm ready for another 1000 pages.

About the monkeys and pigs it's because Jews disobeyed god orders, so as a punishment he turned them into monkeys and pigs, but not as an insult or something. The Talmud literally says that anyone who is not Jew is goyim which right translation is an animal. Jews simply believe that any goyim is unclean and is not as smart as them because he isn't a true human but a creature god created to serve them and when their leader and savior arrives at the end of time he will give every Jew a 1000 goyim as slaves and a lot of other sh*t.
