Separately, I think that nobody here would give a sh*t about this article if it were completely unrepresentative of reality. To the extent people care, it's because it is representative. We recognize a lot of common problems. It's an attractive women saying that women experience all the problems, baldness is funny, and also that she's oblivious to the existence of unattractive men. It's sanctioned as normal bigotry by a mainstream media organization. It's totally normal, that's why people care.

Just exist. You don't have to do anything; one day, mr.right will approach you and you will go out with him and one day he'll ask you to marry him, etc. The only requirement most men have is "don't be fat".

Women on the other hand have a list of requirements beyond an individuals control. You have to be taller than her, have a certain color of hair, have hair, bone structure, etc.

Not exactly true. Tellersquill is loosing his temples, sure at a moderate pace, but I'm certain it's quite painful for him to watch them disappeare.

Quite often it's the most painful and soul destroying period of hair loss, the early stages.
Constantly looking in mirrors, constantly worrying if your sex appeal is really heading south and you may become invisible to the top tire women.

Constantly looking at your phone to see if you have any matches on tinder/grinder, or whatever your preference may be.

Not getting smiles from the cute checkout girls anymore, and so on.
It's a real emotional minefield and I for one don't wish it apon anybody.
