50mg is very low..and yes you have gyno and it will get worse with spironolactone. But with surgery you can extirp the totally of the gland and it will never growth even with high estrogens.

how bad is my gyno and if I stop the spironolactone right now will I be able to get rid of gyno with reflex in 12 days?

I forgot to mention an important one - increased hormone levels. 60mg-120mg causes a 13%-26% increase in testosterone in men. It varies depending on the study. I haven't found data for 30mg, presumably less.

I also haven't found DHT level changes. Normally DHT will go up with T. If your anti-androgens are working then it's not a problem but if you're only borderline maintaining then it might be an issue. With duta DHT should remain suppressed since it blocks all types of 5ar, with fina you'll get a slight increase. DHTcel is on duta so I think he'll be fine.

This is an educated guess but it seems like DHT rises at about half the rate as T. I'm basing that off a bicalutamide study that included DHT. If that's the case then with a 13%-26% increase in T from raloxifene we'll probably see a 7%-13% increase in DHT on 60-120mg ralox. That's without 5ar-inhibitors.

As a result of the high LH levels, total testosterone levels increased after 24 weeks by 66% (P < 0.001), free testosterone by 57% (P < 0.001) and dihydrotestosterone by 24% (P = 0.0112).

Why'd you choose bica over the more commonly used cypro and spironolactone...at least common within this forum. I'm weighing the pros and cons of each anti-androgen and will likely add one to my regimen soon.

Aside from gyno, bica has low chances of side effects. The rate of sexual dysfunction is low compared to other anti-androgens since only receptors are blocked, not T production. The downside is that the rate of gyno is quite high because it both blocks T and causes E levels to rise. There's a very rare chance (less than 0.1%) of liver toxicity but I'm getting blood tests so I'm fine.

I think more guys should try it topically. It's in the same class as RU58841 but way more studied and commercially available. I don't know why there's such an obsession with RU here.

I've been on spironolactone for exactly a year and currently, i'm taking 200mg. I find that 200mg-300mg is my sweet spot. I started with 50mg for 3 days, then 75mg 4 days, then 100mg for 2 or 3 weeks and so on..

The highest dosage I've taken was 800mg per day but i've been mostly on 500-600mg.. It was a waste of time and money btw!
Anyway, I started having sides when i hit 500mg .. The sides were almost no libido, limp dick, freaking gyno and weight loss.. Oh but i had good sides also, like NO MORE pimples, body hair would grow a lot slower.. My face didn't change, my beard was the same. Nothing in my appearance changed even on 800mg!
I cut down to 200mg again because i found that anything above it wasn't doing anything more for my hair. Also, my gyno was getting bad and i wanted my dick back..
It's been almost 2 months since i'm on 200mg again and sides are much much better!

I'm thinking of trying RU or something since spironolactone was a little of a letdown for me.

I had those sides at 25-50mg. but I think thats because I have 0DHT and I am a hyper responder to spironolactone.

over the last few days I have had increased amounts of pain in my nipples so I would definitely say I have gyno its to the point where I twist them sometimes so they become firm. I had my testosterone tested at above normal range and my bones have fused already (I'm not even 17 yet) so I bet I have high estrogen as well. How long did it take for your gyno to become terminal?

So you did not see any ipmprovement in your hair? Will you consider Estrogen at some point in time?

Depends of the surgery. If the surgeon extirp the whole gland it wont come back. But if a little of gland remain it can come back

Yes. Professional bodybuilders do that because they need to cycle roids even after the surgery.
The best solution is leave some gland because its more aesthetic but if you plan to continue with finas/dutas which caused your gyno the gland will start to growth slowly again

I've been on finasteride for 2.5 months. Im convinced its the spironolactone because I got gyno symptoms immediately after the first pill of spironolactone.

How bad was your gyno pain? In class It hurts so much if my shirt touches my nipple and it feels like I'm being groped.
