lol... i am glad my anguish is at least supplying humor to some... it REALLY is funny at the end of the day. life is too short. f*** anxiety over hair loss. I hate my hair. hate. don't know why i still have it.
Is there an underlying medical condition that we dont know about? After all, it's just hair:D

Black cap + diamond stud earings and your instant alpha. Seriously even try putting this look on an incel and he will look alpha. I was looking at some pictures today and the black cap just adds an element of mysterious halo affect . It also covers up the fact that your bald and makes your face more symmetrical . If you really want to pull off the look get a really well groomed beard + the black cap is just like a combo from heaven. Obviously muscles and tats help as well with this look. This isn't cope or anything because ultimately bald is still bald but I have to say it's a good edge for bald betas to play.

There is truth to this.

better game to run then becoming a toupee connoisseur.

Hat prisoner is at least moderately being himself in the presence of others, while seemingly not.

if of course he ends up hatphishing a chick into becoming emotionally invested he is some what being true to himself, while seemingly not.

As for a piece wearer, he's all around living a secret lie that's inevitably going to be exposed. However, most remain single for the very own reason that they cannot get over the burden of wearing.

When you hatphish the trick is evident, but disguised... the proof is in the pudding. Where as, when you wear you are all around deceitful.

sported a Norwood 1.5 combover today (natural one after a shower, I never used anything for hair) with a solid neckbeard

so much difference – covered poverty chin, assymetry and shitty hairline

I got two points 3/10 to 5/10 just by having hair on top of my head and really shitty beard

now I clean shaved and going to have a buzzcut tmr

I find the most attractive look when it comes to pulling is 4 day stubble, clean shaven neckline - trimmed up. Maintain the stubble up top..

why do incels always have weak chins? I am starting to think DOM chin = slayer

some guys in the UK wear hats a lot; my friend always wears a hat or a beanie, he has long curly blond hair (pretty boy) and i was convinced he was losing it, as he always wore his hat, would stop anyone trying to remove it with force etc. you'd never see him without a hat (he works outdoors). i thought "man he must be NW3 or more under that hat the way he keeps it stuck to his head".

well one day he wasn't paying attention and my other friend took it from him. underneath it was the thickest head of curly blond hair NW1 like a teenager would have. i thought if I had hair like that I wouldn't own a single hat, beanie, cap, etc, why cover it up? i guess he just really likes hats

Guys... WHAT THE f*** IS GOING ON WITH MY SIDES?

IMG_20180215_122603 (2).jpg

I hadn't even realized how terrible it had gotten. Do I really have legit retrogade alopecia on top of my destroyed hairline?

This might be my f*****g breaking point...

i think it might just be an optical illusion, if you ruffle your hair you can probably make it go away. i work in a school and i'm sure i've seen side hair like that on kids before, it is an illusion. (you know you're a norwood spotter when you analyse kids and womens hairlines)
but some bald guys seem to keep all of their "ring" (donor) hair, it is ultra thick - others seem to lose a lot of that too (thinning donor). check the rear out, see if that is thinning.

I wish man. You can tell the hairs are just very different. For example, there is a tiny area right above the ear lobe where the hair is longer and a bit more normal looking whereas right above that the hair it's just very sparse and weak.

i think you either need a shower, or .5 the f*** out of those sides

Sure it's a lot less noticeable when I have the sides very short. Doesn't mean it's not still a big f*****g problem...

This picture could be me, same beard, hair, skin tone.

My hair is also like that. My hair there is actually closer to my beard hair than my head hair, it's curly/wiry and quite sparse.

I'm not sure what causes it but at the very least it's never gotten worse for me.

Are you on any anti-androgen?

Couldn't tolerate finasteride nor RU. Currently trying another experimental topical anti-androgen. So far at 5 weeks in there are no promising signs except that sides (for now) are a lot more tolerable than previous treatments.

Somewhat encouraging hah. How about hair on top, is that not getting worse?

Two years on minoxidil and it's better than it was when I started using min, currentlyNW2. Although my hair was a little bit better this time last year, so worried about the future.

But I'm no longer worried about suddenly going NW6 as I was two years ago. If it keeps worsening I think I will try a topical finasteride solution next.

Oh the happy minoxidil days, those were pleasant times. Alas, it did not last for me. Hope you'll be better off in that regard.

@SteveTabernack did you noticed your sides getting thinner while you started all these a.a medications?

Nah, don't think there is a correlation to be found there.. Only took finasteride for three months. RU probably for like a year total, so I guess it's possible..

@SteveTabernack anyway, I'm on finasteride for 16 months and although I have some benefits for sure, I've experienced some thinning on these areas on the sides. I never saw any serious thinning there before the first major finasteride shed. After a quick search, a lot of people on finasteride complain about these areas. A derm told me that these areas actually need dht for their natural growth, as body hair and beard needs that too and that's why a lot of people post about shedding/thinning body hair while on anti-androgens. He also told me that in the end, all these hair adapt to the new situation.
