@Ritchie There are men who went bald without having very poor facial structure but they are exceptions and not a rule. 95% of bald men I see have poor to very poor facial structure. One of them is Freddie Ljungberg. He doesn't have missing eye support and flat cheekbones but he has excessive vertical growth of the jawline.

His jawline looks narrow and deformed.

That's why he went bald I think. But that's rare. Few balding men have cheekbones like this.

Most women would look past the bald with razor blade cheekbones and jaw like that

For more proof I have a new quiz. It's pretty easy. It's also for you @Ritchie. Guess of those men who is balding and who's not. 5 of those men are balding and 5 aren't. Look closely at their facial structure and galea.

@Ritchie I will post the answers after some time in case if other people want to participate. Now I will post another outlier who went bald without having very poor facial structure with thinning with an intact hairline. I think you are familiar with him.

817fa3de860.jpg

960-540-uti-bychvarov.jpg

Another picture of him where he was young when he wasn't that fat

IMG-ce143452013005153a947b7926771460-V-Copy.jpg

I am 100% sure that he has scoliosis or another condition that impacts posture. He's also very fat which plays a role too. Obesity is associated with worse posture. Obesity also increases inflammation in your body and that's why overweight men bald significantly faster. I think that a combination of all those things made him lose hair. His craniofacial development isn't good but it's not horrible either. He has really odd face shape and flat cheekbones.

Good job @Ritchie. You gussed them all correct expect the last one. He's not balding. I think 1 is the most obvious one. People with facial structure like this can't be bald. I am surprised how did you got the last one wrong. He has decent face shape.

@Ritchie To me the theory that people go bald because of their genetic sensitivity to DHT is like the theory that God created this world and the human. Which is more logical Ritchie? - that the universe exploded and released multiple objects and one of them turned out to have good enough conditions for life to exist and this life took million of years of evolving and adapting to the different environments of this object or just a random man that appeared from nowhere and created everything including the human by his resemblence. Also which is more logical - That your galea is in tension because of your facial structure and the size and shape of your galea or just some stupid gene that you got from your grandmother's father causing your follicles to shrink for no reason in an unexplainable horsehoe pattern.

I have found by another case of siblings who look alike. Look at prince Edward's facial structure and galea.

ortrait-of-hrh-prince-edward-earl-of-wessex-BJX8HK.jpg

Look at his excessive vertical facial growth and how expanded is his galea. Look where the forehead creases end.

And then look at prince Andrew's facial structure.

_123273651_gettyimages-826421594.jpg

His facial structure is much more horizontal.

Here are a young pictures of both princes and you can notice the obvious difference despite the fact that they look so alike.

They have the same hair color and texture, same nose shape, same pair of thin lips. But the growth of their cheekbones are the obvious difference between them.

Also, some of these are really hard to tell because the face app bald feature changes the galea shape. So most of the time in this quiz im ignoring the galea and just looking at the face shape.

@Ritchie Do you think that Justin Bieber is on a finasteride? I think he 100% is. All of the men in his family are bald. He has vertical growth both of the cheekbones and the jawline. Also when he does a buzz cut his galea looks too ridged and expanded for someone who would keep NW1 and I can see thinning at the temmples in a NW3 pattern . Just look at him Ritchie.

Making them bald on faceapp changes their galea shape though, it's not how it really looks under the hair. So I was relying only on bone structure and not the galea when making my guesses.

@Ritchie I have seen articles stating that 95% of men lose their juvenile hairlines and only 5% keep it for life and this article presents ghe juvenile hairline as a low rounded hairline. I think that this type of hairline is not common among men of european ancestry and indeed a small amount of famous men and men that I see on the street have this type of hairline. But I think that the percentage of men that keep their original hairline is a little bit higher. I believe that some non balding men recede and some don't. Most europeans have higher and not very rounded hairlines.

Everyone's corners of the hairline are squared and everyone has a gap there. In people with rounded hairlines the hair grows in a line above the forehead that fuses with the sides due to their small forehead ceating gap that is so small and appereance of a convex shaped hairline.

Look at Brendan Shwaub for example.

2500160.png

You can barely notice the gap between the corners and the sides but it still exists.

Also as the skull grows and skull bones mature the hairline starts to appear less rounded, the sides longer and the gap more prominent.

I am sure that Josh Turner also have never lost a hair. His hairline look like the one of the children I presented. His hairline is also attached to the sides and the gap is very small.

So does Olivier Jiroud. I like his craniofacial development. There is no way a man with a cheekbones and jawline like this to be bald.

Out of interest do you have a theory as to why hairloss may be related to jawline and galea? If this is true why do you believe this would occur?

But I think that the percentage of men that keep their original hairline is a little bit higher. I believe that some non balding men recede and some don't. Most europeans have higher and not very rounded hairlines.

Everyone's corners of the hairline are squared and everyone has a gap there. In people with rounded hairlines the hair grows in a line above the forehead that fuses with the sides due to their small forehead ceating gap that is so small and appereance of a convex shaped hairline.

Look at Brendan Shwaub for example.

You can barely notice the gap between the corners and the sides but it still exists.

Also as the skull grows and skull bones mature the hairline starts to appear less rounded, the sides longer and the gap more prominent.

It's possible also for David Shwimmer to have never receded and just grew up.

His gap on his right temple seems pretty small especially when he grows his hair longer

That's why I've put him in the no haur loss group.

Khabub also never lost a hair. I think he has excellent craniofacial development.

So did Steve Grerrad.

Or Ronald Reagan

He has small temporal gap too.

This is one of the guy I presented in my presentation. He doesn't have great creaniofacial development but he his galea is very smooth and small.

He also have small temporal gap.

He also could be born like that and never receded.

However there are some men that definitely have receded. One of them ia Tobey Maguire.

Here is his hairline a child.

It's clear that the temples went back.

The next is Christian Bale.

It's quite clear that the temples went back.
In a few words, people with high hair density and thicker hair are less prone to develop common har loss.
