He's had a transplant. Always thought there was something weird about his hair when I saw him on TV.

Trying to recapture his glorious mane. Not working.

With the transplant he looks 'odd'
He should have kept it shaved he looked manly.
I don't like 'boyish'..even when i was young..I was 14 years old I liked Don Johnson NOT Rob Lowe.

Interesting, that guy has a face that reminds me of... mine. Especially on the second picture.

Soft slightly feminine features, no square jaw and a nice smile. Except I have blue eyes and I'm way paler.

I think I looked too nice and naive when I had hair, so a shaved head has allowed me to look more masculine.

I remember, when I started shaving my head, a girl told me: "Man I would not mess with you if I saw you in that bad neighborhood, with your shaved head, I'd believe you're a Polish thug or something."

And it's true that I've never been 'attacked' with my shaved head.

And I live in the most dangerous neighborhood of Brussels so it's definitely unusual.

So there are a few perks when you sport a shaved head after all.

You give up a bit of attractiveness (or a lot for some, then it's not recommended) for more masculinity.

I prefer masculine to 'pretty'
i have always been that way.

@plisk You forget that when they say "kind and polite" it is assumed they find these men sexually attractive. Which, for more than 9/10 women, they are picturing the guy with a full head of hair.

I have no idea if the hot girl on the magazine cover is kind and polite or not. I'd prefer that she was if I was going to date her, but I'd f*** her regardless.

Also, lol @ anyone thinking People Magazine's "sexiest man alive" is reflective of worldwide, female opinion.
Exactly, what I was trying to say, not sure whether it got clear because of a language barrier. If the guy is hot, women think he is nice and if he is not so hot, they try to convince themselves by finding some stupid, non-superficial reason. It is all about looks, money status is not really important when it comes to normal dating (most of us aren´t really rich or famous in some way). Of course, mature women who are looking for a beta provider may also care about other aspects, but for me that´s basically prostitution.

it's not prostitution most women when thinking about having kids--want a good father--or they should at least factor that in.

Great sexual attraction does not equal great parent and life partner.

women should (and men too) factor things in when looking to marry and have kids

Just having the hottest woman who is kind of shallow and selfish may be okay for a man into f*****g but when its time to have kids do you really want a hot shallow woman to be mother of your kids? Partner in your finances and home?

Or do you want an attractive, fit maybe not as hot woman who would be a great nutrient Mother.

Don't get me wrong if you find a beautiful woman who is also fantastic human being--awesome.

As weird as it sounds to say I kind of wish I could at least pull of a hard/ thug look being bald. Even though its not considered attractive it definitely is masculine. beats looking like a goofball. I cant even imagine how ridiculous I will look when im bald...

this is a crush in have from House of Cards season 1---i don't know what it is but to me this guy is super hot.
He wore a wig in a ski fi series the Strain--he totally looked so much better in House oF Cards no hair
To be fair it was a bad hair piece which is shocking for a show with a big budget but whatever.

Tbh you could post 100 examples like this if they existed but the thing is 99% of these guys would challenge you and not really believe it. One of the guys you've replied to on here has openly admitted to having BDD, some of the symptoms of which revolve around an obsession with a perceived perfect image. He could see a bald guy walking hand in hand with the hottest girl in the world and still not believe it was happening because it doesn't fit his pre determined reality of the world.

I have quite a few female friends who like you prefer masculine over pretty. One i can think of talks about how she likes 'a bit of rough' - that is the term she uses. She likes broad, bald guys with a bit of stubble...hyper masculine type look the most and sees 'pretty' hairstyles as a big turn off.

My long term ex gf was the same. When i was younger with a relatively full head of hair and worrying about my future appearance i struggled to believe her when she said she liked bald guys. Then we broke up and she gets with a guy who must have been NW4. We stayed friends and i now know how attractive she found him.

Yep, if you've got good facial features, height and physique they'll rarely mock or "attack" you. As a matter of fact, in my case, being short and skinny, I only got mocked, and just a few months ago a guy screamed "skinhead" at me when I entered a bar
You're starting to sound like Fred.

I think the answer is obvious, but I was refering to women who, after DECADES of riding the c*** carousel start looking for a workcel/beta provider, pop out a few kids and then feel they have the right to let themselves go and become fat.

Btw. I have no problem with women who are open about that they care for looks. It is just the hypocrisy by many females which disgusts me.

It's a question of balance and preference.

Men who are too masculine tend to look too rugged and aggressive and some women are repulsed by that.

Men who are too feminine and too much on the 'pretty boy' side will have have a hard time to elicit sexual tension.

Great sexual attraction is the foundation of any solid romantic relationship.

It's the cornerstone really. I based myself on that when I chose my last two girlfriends.

They were crazy about me from the first date, and even before that, for no other reason than my face.

When I kissed my last girlfriend, boy I knew immediately.

You need that foundation if you want to be happy and serene in your relationship as a man.

Then you can build a really solid relationship that's not going to crumble at the first sign of trouble.

My ex-girlfriend really needed a huge problem (her abortion and betrayal of my trust) to dump me.

Without that, we'd still be together.

The biggest mistake you can do as a man is to go for a girl who's not absolutely crazy about you.
It's crazy how forgiving, understanding and interested a women is when she's head over heels over you (physical)

They look passed your faults. Even if your shy, and have a hard time opening up, they will work with you, and eventually get to that point where you become that comfortable person that they want to be with.

Even if you work a crappy job, and have no education.. they dont care. If she likes you, and you work for a living.. that's all that matters. Again, they will look passed your faults.

One of my buddies back home works at a restaurant as a server for the last 9 years, dropped out of high school, and never looked back. He struggles to make ends meet, and has a drinking problem, but has zero problems dating women. he's currently seeing a chick that graduated from queens university, and is now an optometrist.

I forgot to mention he's literally a Norwood 0

Your posts make me rage bro. Fill me up with deep rage. Both my shins were bleeding in the gym deadlifting 4 plates, people were staring but no one said a word to me, but I couldn't give a f***, kept going for more sets and the bottom of my pants were soaked in blood, I was in my own world. All I could think about was your 'I just had a really bad day' story, which I could barely make it to the end without exploding from the inside. From now I shall be the protector and justice bringer of every skinny balding dude. Being a big guy myself having the physical advantage I admit that in the past a had a sense of superiority towards these type of guys, but no more, quite the opposite, it is now those shallow superficial fuckbois and sl*ts that I have deep loath for. It's those people that try to bring other people down and look for any reason to laugh at another person that I do not wish to associate with anymore. I know I'm a hypocrite, because I laugh at other people too sometimes, and before I'm quick to judge someone I try to put myself in his shoes nowadays. I see that skinny/short/balding dude and I look at him, trying to tell him with my eyes "hang in there bro, you're gonna make it". On the contrary I don't have much remorse for fat chicks - doesn't matter if she's a midget or a giraffe, there will still be a thousand guys lined up to plow them, hell I know I'd do her, while the severely balding guy in his early twenties will have a hard time getting laid let alone a girl's number.

I get the surface of this causing you so much anger and resentment...but what is underneath that.

Did this actually happen to you?

Are you a 'beta provider" type?

just sounds so personal i would like to know 'what' happened.

Yes attraction is important but it can fade after several years.

You have to keep that in mind.

Especially when going to have kids--and people who have kids it can be hard to have that same level of intimacy for a while for some.

Also i think for women certain things are more attractive at 30 then at 20.

You appreciate qualities in a person when older you may not have cared about younger.

I think its same for men..i don't think thats just women.

when a guy is 18 a man may put up with a shitty personality from a hot woman..at 30 man may still want to have sex with hot woman with shitty personality--BUT doubt he would stick around as long or be as naive as he would have been at 18..

You just grow you get burnt enough your eyes open..men and women.
To take it even further--this is even true with the type of friends you pick.
Or it should be at least.
I have tons an tons of aquientences and buddies--but a handful of friends i really tell my stuff too.

To be fair to the guy you are replying to, and I'm not sure which country you are in, but a lot of men feel like this. The reason being that in the dating game, particularly these days, women often have the upper hand. Online dating made things very straightforward for women where if they wanted sex then they could get it in an instant (not that it was too difficult before). In the UK for sure, that coupled with a new type of feminism which says that girls are cool to take what they want when they want has lead to a sense of entitlement in a lot of women and that is where the resentment from a lot of guys comes from.

Now, I am clearly not someone who believes in baldness being the end of the world like many on here. But I do understand why a lot of guys feel the way they do. On a dating site you will see it - the average looking women only 'giving a chance' to the very best looking guys in her mind (just because she can)...having her fun until she is late 20's/early 30's then panicking and settling with any old guy. It has almost become so easy for many women that most barely take care of themselves/put on weight etc, because it isn't really going to impact on their dating prospects hugely.

The intelligent guy sees things like online dating for what it is and maybe uses it as an occasional extra option but instead focuses on improving himself and generally being sociable in other areas. That is when things become more balanced and a guy who has a strong frame (metaphorically) can have a great dating life even if he isn't 6ft+ with pretty hair and a handsome face. Many of the most outspoken 'redpill' guys on this forum are almost exclusively online daters - it is a surefire way to become bitter.

I agree. I've become more forgiving about looks as I've aged but less forgiving with personality flaws.

This, women don't become more "forgiving" out of maturity or wisdom, but simply when they realize they're losing their beauty and that they're not attractive anymore, and that they can no longer afford to be as picky as before.
That´s why it is ok for some, when the husband is going bald. It is an excuse for them to become fat themselves.

Hard to explain, but I am definetly not a beta provider, but I have seen this happening too many poor souls I have known. So sad.....:(
