Om

Omg dhtpolice. I would kiss that girl in your profile pic if what you posted is valid for everyone. More background needed. How long did hrt take to work, started when. Initial dosage. Sides.
You can ask that person directly if you have an account on reddit. Here is the link.

If we are gonna start posting before and afters of those who have treated Androgenetic Alopecia with oestrogen, I saw this one whilst browsing the net earlier today that I thought was pretty note worthy, pic below. The guy here was on 100mg spironolactone, 2mg E2, 1.25mg finasteride, and min, not as dramatic as the trans @DHTpolice posted but significant frontal-temporal regrowth nonetheless.

Yup have read that.
Few users on thread were of the viewpoint that this guy has been trolling.
It’s the hair transplant he has got in the improvement pic.
Is it possible to figure out if that is purely on med or hair transplant?

Hmmm I don’t know, would a person have hair as short as his if he had a transplant?

What I mean is if you were to shave your head this short it would reveal scarring, something that is potentially embarrassing. Anyway it's besides the point he quite clearly has not had a transplant.
Your regime seems to be be tending towards the OP above. Please keep us posted. I might consider cypro if it works for you.

I was reading that hairlosshelp thread and there was a mtf on there who had been on Hrt for 9 months without seeing results. she was jealous of that guy. makes me a bit worried its not 100% guareenteed to work for everyone. my regimen is stronger than his but I think my hairloss was worse.

I haven't read all of the posts, but the question that I'm asking myself is if it is purposeful for male pattern baldness sufferes to take estrogen metaboliser? So for example due we need more "normal" estrogen and less estradiol? Which estrogen type is mainly present in the scalpe?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I will read all the previous posts in a minute.

Interesting, I've not heard of people administering estro in such a way. I'm applying ~1.5g of Oestrogel on the temples and 2ml of Alpicort F all over per day. Limited sides thus far.

Well I may have finally joined back in September I've been a lurker for much longer.
Where do you guys get your alpicort? I was interested in getting some and realised that there’s definitely nowhere in Australia that sells it. Do you need a prescription?

I got Alpicort F from brandmedicines.com. They operate in an unusual way, your account must be verified before you can make any purchases, don't worry though this isn't hard, simply make an account and then email them expressing your intent to purchase, they then should activate your account.

Thanks! Hopefully they let the sh*t into the country. How are you going with it? Any results?

No results as of yet... Just a reminder, Alpicort F doesn't just include oestradiol, it's other active ingredient is a synthetic corticosteroid (prednisone), so it isn't exactly practical as a long term treatment strategy.

Are you one of the guys using oestrogel or oral E2? I was just skimming through the thread and saw some men using it as a topical on their scalp which just blows my mind given that it’s prescribed to women without ovaries. It’s a full on HRT treatment. I just wonder how that goes for men. You must get some gnarly sides.

Just oestrogel, tbh I’ve not experienced any severe sides. The only sides I’ve noticed so far are a reduced libido and sometimes I might get a headache after applying the gel.
