Frankly, I don't see why anyone cares anymore.
They told that one dude in the email that they're essentially just going to wait until someone solves the cultivation problem for them; which Tsuji seems to be the only one.
Let's be real: All that but a handful of users here really give a damn about is "what can it do for me" and "when can I have it".
Currently, the answer stands at "nothing" and "maybe never" so all other information really just makes for good trivia that you can drop in a conversation and feel smarter than the person you're talking to.

If it was positive news, you'd be championing it as ultimate truth; no one has suspected anything else they've said to one person as possibly being "misconstrued" simply because it was good news.
The reality is, they are probably at the same stage every other hair "cloning" startup save for seemingly Riken: Stuck on a cellular-cultivation problem.

The funny part is that they even won't study anything else due to the lack of technology, so what did they even have? It's like "yeah we have a pretty good idea, but it won't work until someone else invents it" ,so in the end again just bla bla and the reason why we still wait for a cure for 30-40 years
Someone on one of the blogs recently threw out the conspiracy theory, which I increasingly agree with, that a lot of these stem-cell startups are just using hairloss research as means of attracting investors who have a personal interest in such a product, but it's not actually a serious product in their pipeline. Just look at Aclaris' vague, unsupported claim that JAK "works" for Androgenetic Alopecia and it's possible entrance into clinical trials for the condition in a couple years. or...
"OMG PolarityTE could cure baldness maybe!"
Yeah, but literally none of the products in their pipeline are geared toward that. The only place anyone is talking about the company on the internet is in hairloss forums JUST BECAUSE the company said that they could go into hair regeneration if their skin regeneration is successful in the burn market, and people are treating them as a serious contender for "the cure".
and you know damn well plenty of balding guys threw money at "COOL" stock based on that single line of text on their website.
Meanwhile, progress only ticks away on everything else.

Yes that's how the biotech companies can gain up to 1000% for nothing, 90% scam that have already found the cure, but aren't able to produce it somehow lol.
Polarity could maybe produce some skin regeneration and it's their primary target, but as you said hair regeneration is just a byproduct and can take years after the skin regeneration treatment is finished, just gold digging like histogen and samumed.

I don't even really need to. I feel as if they are just stalling telling us they aren't going to go through with the research because of some agenda.
