And thats the point, I gain no pleasure from repeatedly crushing him but he brings it on himself.
This is tough love for his own good, he needs to be snapped out of the deluded reality he lives in. :smack:
Whatever he claims we all know that theres no way he's happy with his current existence.

His continuous attempts to bait people with his supposed enviable lifestyle are just like a toddler throwing a tantrum for attention.

Truth is I feel sorry for him. :shakehead:

i think your jealous of me and my brother wife.

brother wife NEVER worked from age 20-30.

has been to las vegas, lives in a 250K home, food provider for her and her children, drives 20K car.

all this sh*t she has is WAY out of her lifestyle her parents have, she comes from working class background, her parents could never afford to have 20K car, her parents have a LOW rent house worth about 70K but is rented, her parenst cant afford to go abroad either.

she is living about 10x the lifestyle of parents/siblings but isnt working.

everyone is jealous, imagine not working but getting money transfered into your account to the tune of 5x your normal working salary!

How have you managed to stay on the dole for so long? Don't they start chucking you onto courses, training for work schemes etc after 6 months to a year?

after 1 year they have put me on a private company called triage, i just went ot that company last week, they are more forceful about finding me work, if they force me to work i simply sing off the dole for a small period of time.

then i can re-sign on again to get my £70 a week on the dole, if they force me to work i will take up part time job earning £100 a week in a phone shop or clothing store or whatever, nice easy job, but ill try to get back on the dole again ASAP.

as i said there is no point in working, singin up on the dole is like working 12 hours a week on £6 an hour (£72), htey could ofer me part time work for 16 hours a week, to get me off the dole benefits but what is the point when the first 12 hours of me working is useless cause i get it for free.

Yeah we're all jealous of your life.

All this socialising and independant adult living and shagging women is such a drag.

Does your mum still breastfeed you aswell?

Seriously? Do you really get a sense of fulfillment from just getting spoon fed your entire life? What if all that money disappeared? You'd be a wreck. I personally would ideally like a wage of around £25-30k and a great job in music. I like the struggle of life. Put something into society!

haha sure whatever.

and if someone offered a lottery win to you of 200K vs not having a lottery win but instead working full time in mcdonalds for 20 years (the same amount)

someone offered you two choices right now, you'd pick the second?

yeah right mate, youd take the first, then never work again, or maybe do some part time job to get a sense of fulfilment but 98% of your lifestyle would be the lottery win.

and no alot of working class people do hope to win the bingo to get 2-3 years off work.

On the face of it, yes a lottery win seems great. But I've actually thought a lot about what that amount of money would do for me and the answer is nothing. I'd probably have a year or two living my life to it's fullest; travelling, partying etc, but then I'd have nothing left to do and I'd only be 21.

I hate to sound like a :jackit: but I genuinely do not want a lot of money. I like being part of the working class; it's how we're meant to live. Doing our bit. That much money is just obscene and ridiculous and nobody needs it. If consumerism works for you though then enjoy it.

well its not consumerism, i mean you could just get on the property ladder and OWN a £200K home, then you wont have a rent to landlord overhead.

that would make the most sense, if a working class person who has low rent flat somewhere gets 200K then he would buy a 200K home likely.

A batchelor doesnt require a 200k home.A nice maisonette for around 80k,or a one bed house for around 110k is enough.

that's true, but its hard to guess what to do.

also @ fond

its not about having a lot of money, its more about lifestyle, what im saying is that if you won 200K at the lottery you wouldnt have to worry about food or rent and you wouldn't have to work in a clothing shop to pay up your bills.

you say "i wouldnt know what to do with that money" - what im saying is you wont be doing anything NEW with that money, you just wouldn't be working.

yes but that is the amount of money you would accumalate after 30 years of working full time, you are working full time to earn £200K in your lifetime

but if someone handed you £200K at the age of 21 you wouldnt bother working becuase you have achieved that money.

I dont do the lottery.(for me) it is wrong too win all that money for doing f**k-all....anyway it wont change the way I fell about myself, humanity, and the natural stages of life.
