All this talk about women in their early 20's had lead me to ponder the question... What is it about a woman of this age, that us men (of all ages) finds so appealing?
Now, apart from the obvious aesthetic reasons, what else is going on psychologically in the minds of men when they chase girls of this age?

Maybe it all relates our primitive biology.
David, we need your help.

They are most fertile and healthy. They are not just more likely to give birth, but also more likely to be alive for several years after birth.

Bear in mind that among our ancestors, life expectancy was low, and both infant mortality and maternal mortality (at birth) were very high.

If you're bald at 45 and along comes a cure, then game-changer.

Smooth supple skin and toned body beats wrinkly, saggy, lumpy bodies with uneven skin tone.

Because of a recent pension reform, people will be entitled to retire at 73 where I am from.

Do I want to spend the next 30 years being "the one with the monk's crown in the office on the right" or do I want Tsuji-san to fix that for us?

I'm in my mid 30s. The day i stop caring about my hair (loss) is the day I've given up on myself. That will never happen. Regardless of where you are in life, or how old you are, you must not resign yourself to some outcome as long as there is something left to do about it.

And someone whose in their 30's dating a 24 yr old girl isn't creepy like someone earlier posted.
Actually, a lot of the younger ladies like the guys who are a bit older. Not all girls want to be with the immature awkward frat boy type.
e.

i dated a lot of men older than me when i was in my 20s as did most of my friends..I mean even in HS we dated older. Has this changed?

how much older are we talking?

When i was in my 20s? i dated some my age from college but also dated up to 7 years older i would say..I know when i was 19 my BF was 27 i think we were together for 2 or 3 years. he dumped me for an older woman actually...she was like 29. LOL i remember crying to my friend 'but she's so old!"

In HS i was very heavy into club scene loved music, going to see DJs, so it was normal at 16 to meet guys in early 20s.

Really there are tons of women who prefer older men.

I know a lot of women who fancy hugh lorrie from House. He's in his fifties and has thinning and women in their twenties like him :)

They don't like Hugh Laurie from House, they like Dr. House from House.

A fictional bad boy who is un-tamed and intelligent in a disregarding way, yet somewhat humble about his remarkable intelligence. A mysterious enigma that encourages intrigue to unravel him. That's the whole idea of that repetitive, fairly enjoyable yet fairly shitty show. Women love to hate him, men hate wanting to be him.

Of course he also looks very handsome in the show, but would any woman put up with him for the rest of their life? Not even a few weeks, unless he's paying their way. Or they are mentally imbalanced.

What about the real Hugh Laurie? If he wasn't Dr. House, and was a middle aged divorced accountant, father of 3, living in the real world:

Great acting, good monologues, sculpted facial hair and a perma-scowl can do a lot for a man.

Now let's get back to reality.

Thanks, Hugh Laurie seems like a really great person by the way, I think he's even alluded to some of my conclusions as well and doesn't take the "heart throb" persona too seriously.

But clean shaven (as you'd have to be as a middle aged man in any occupation) and looking like above? I doubt it would get many pussies wet. And that picture doesn't even take the thinning into account.

I wouldn't say he is good looking. Maybe around a 6, perhaps a 7 considering his age.

H.I they allow beards in the workplace these days. I've seen tons of teachers, businessmen, nurses etc with beards. Some people have a prejudice against them but it is very few.

Yeah that's a good point, I do see it as well, but all the other characteristics definitely add to the sexiness.
