I don't mean to sound too pessimistic but the interview, if it's done, will be fruitless. Most of the questions are like so stupid.

Oh look, it's like, this mouth-breather who also sometimes trolls hairlosscure2020. Though, I think he got banned.

May the same swiftly happen to you here.

Thanks.
I may be banned, but let's see who's gonna be proven wrong at the end.

Yes you do, your whole intention is to be pessimistic. I'm guessing it makes you feel better - temporarily of course, then the bad feelings come back so you have to spout negativity again

I don't see why beard hair couldn't be used in this procedure, however it'd most likely cause you to grow beard-like hair on the top of your head. The hairs are clones so they would likely retain the same properties as the donor.
Some people have good quality beard hair. Mines are straight and thick. Only different would be that the anagen phase for beard hairs is shorter .

Can we include epithelial bulge cells in this one as well?
Second this. Swoop's question about maintaining gene expression was the most important of all imo. At least compared to question 16, they made it very clear that primordiums will be injected into the scalp. Why wouldn't they? They're so small and it's a less complicated procedure.
I see Swoop's reasoning on that answer he gave admin. He might as well be right. I just want to point out that it's the fact that a lot of hairs are genetically identical that worries me, not that they're all in anagen. Unless hair cycle duration is determined during neogenic follicle formation for each hair separately.
Oh and guys could you please thank Tsuji for what he is doing for organ regeneration? If this man achieves what he sets out to do he's well on his way for a nobel prize

17) Will primordium hairs be capable of growing through scars from past hair transplants?

pls specify "both type of scars": in the recipient area (grafting scars) and in the donor area (FUE/FUT scars).

I couldn't agree more.
I hope things turn less complex than usual and he gets somewhere with his research.
What he has achieved already is pretty cool science-wise.

I don't like some of the choices either, but everyone isn't going to be able to agree on one set of questions. My only suggestion now is to phrase most of them as generally as possible in the interview to give Tsuji the opportunity to take it in the direction that he thinks is important.

I just hope he does not think "WTF?" once these questions come as some of them he may not be allowed to answer as he may constraints on giving away too much information that may be commercially sensitive. I mean most likely the PR people are telling him it's just some questions from some hair loss website so he will probably be expecting some lightweight questions.

hey guys, I just want to be completely honest here. When i noticed that we were going to get the tsuji Q&A i got so excited. But now im a little demoralized with the 20 questions. Is there any way we can maybe work on the 20 questions and see if we can vote a few out in place of a few other questions? I am very grateful for the steps forward this forum and that someone took the initiative to get in contact with tsuji.. but i feel the questions are lacking and we still may be in the dark afterwards. One basic question that would have been great and very simple to ask. If someone was a nw7 and had thinning on sides and back and then had this procdeure done. what should he expect? full reversal with same volume on the sides and back etc? or just some ok to decent coverage? also can this work on scar tissue? I appreciate the in depth questions.. but id like more basics on there too. basic questions may allow tsuji to elaborate in detail with his answers which may in turn also asnwer other questions that we didnt even need to ask.
ps if theres a way to tell tsuji that if this works he saved my life and that he is a true hero to me. like for real.. I will get a tsuji poster and post that sh** on my wall next to kobe

It might be a good idea to suggest that the price of a hair transplant is about $7,000 USD, perhaps even suggest it being lower as to not give them any ideas of raising the price too much. This would give them an idea of how much it can be compared to and keeping their solution at a low cost.

I'm guessing $10K at least. hair transplant docs love charging by the follicle or FUT. It's my hope Aclaris, Repunzel, or Replicel-Shiseido give us something affordable and makes anything that resembles a hair transplant procedure go the way of rotary phones and betamax video tapes. .
