I dont fully understand retraction stuff but if this blot and retraction business was severely detrimental to ol Tsuj and friends good name wouldnt that be a really good incentive that years later Kyocera would not want to get involved? Wouldn't Riken want to get uninvolved? They both seem still to be on board though...

well yes, mistakes can happen. how many times each one of you did a mistake in the university? it can happen easily. don't forget it is not the scientist 100% responsible for the mistake but the people doing the editing. let aside the language issue, Japanese to English.
stakeholders behind these kinds of companies rule the world and this is enough for me.
they even have internal auditors.
check the board out. http://www.riken.jp/en/about/management/executive/
don't they look 110% legit?

and you sit here arguing like autistics.

Once again u showed u are the superior being.

I m really surprised there are no psychological studies about people in hairloss Forums.

The personality oft people here can change within seconds. Best example is French moustard. Lee buckler also seemed to lost bis mind.

In general, people in fora are not the healthiest ones.
I agree, though, that evaluating fora users' behavioral and psychological patterns is very interesting, scientifically speaking.

Excuse my ignorance please. Lee Buckler is the guy behind Replicel. Is it pure speculation that he posted on here or is it more or less certain? Obviously the company that first develops the solution that cures hair loss at relatively low cost and easy application will be in a 'winner takes it all' situation. He will probably become rich as Bezos. So you would think they would try to sabotage their opponents developments if they are about to develop the holy grail. The hair transplant industry wont be delighted either.

We used to have a Lee Buckler that posts here often, until he got banned. :D

Poor Rudi, the LeeBuckler we are referring to is a German user who has created several different profiles and has been banned each and every time. He's not related to Lee Buckler, the CEO of RepliCel.

You seem pretty smart, do you know if tsuji’s still planning to undergo human trials next month? They said they would if the animal trials went well, but I’m struggling to find those. Would be great if they are, but I’m not sure if it’ll occur since it’s so soon.

I may start to doubt your intelligence.
Being smart is different from being knowledgeable.
I guess, frustration may sometimes make one not think sanely.

I can't answer your question. Sorry.

I'm actually here for the same reason, waiting for a f-ing announcement from Riken.
I wouldn't be surprised if such an announcement came around in March or April (aka was postponed), though.

Fair response, I’ll just assume they haven’t disclosed anything to the public yet. I’m expecting a postponement at this point. Still do believe in the guy tho, it’s just all too early.

It's not early to test their technology, actually. They've been working on it for seven-eight years.
Their timeline is very tight. The problem lies there.

Supposedly this team can regenerate human skin in the lab, and can also regenerate hair follicles. What's the reason they're even doing human trials?

You don't need a safety trial to implant the cloned follicles into the lab grown skin, grow a bunch of grafts, and reveal to the public that you can grow huge patches of human hair follicles in the lab. Why don't they do this and reveal to the world that they can grow ten thousand follicles on a lab grown dermis membrane, and go through safety testing of grafting those follicles onto human scalp. Why the runaround of grafting the follicular matrix into the recipient tissue?

The answer is that they haven't solved anything. The longer they draw this process out under the false pretense that they have a potential cure, the more funding they secure to boost their bottom line. Don't get Intercytexed by these 21st century snake oil salesmen

A lab grown skin does not have an imune system and the blood flow is different. That is btw the same reason why nearly every medicine works in mice. Because the have a low *** imune system. So grafting the follicle in lab grown skin is the same as grafting them on mice. Guess what they allready did that.

I think they have figured every obstacle they are aware of. So if no now problems araise during animal or human testing they should be on track for 2020. And please remeber dez 2020 is also 2020
