This misc broscience has to stop. Im all for giving microneedling a fair chance but lets keep it realistic.
Whoever came up with this ridiculous theory that 'crunchy noises in your scalp means fibrosis' needs to be shot or banned. And continual massage/microneedling until the 'crunchy noises go away' means that 'the fibrosis has gone' is 100% broscience and is as bad as saying cold showers boost test 200%.
Fact is no one in this thread has posted any photo evidence that microneedling even works, the only photos posted thus far contain one or more of the following:

1. Obvious Toppik use
2. Person posting the pics is selling something i.e. the OP
3. Person posting the pics has no before photos
4. Person posting the pics started finasteride and/or minoxidil at the same time as microneedling
Exactly. This is a thread for regular normal balding people trying to help their hair loss.
That is why it's important that any seller (with full head of hair) doesn't come here to hype either false or real "results".
Thanks to some recent actions taken in this thread, we have upped the credibility of the thread and its users.
Likes or dislikes won't matter. You are all very much welcome :)
Congratulations to anyone seeing real results. Soon we will know more and will have better before\after pics.

The OP is @ZenHead, who found my pics on Reddit. I didn't know this site existed but someone on Reddit told me that someone had uploaded my results to Hairlosstalk, so I joined to give advice.

People keep going on about OP being a selling scammer but I am NOT the OP and I wasn't even a member of this site until a good while after my photos were posted here and discussed.

@Headdy I'm the only reason you're here so it seems a total waste of time for you to even try microneedling, given you believe this entire thread to be based on fake results. My album was a good resource, which has been spoiled by your creepiness.

People can feel genuinely suicidal about their hair loss, yet you continue to spoil things for everyone. You really are a complete and utter cancer on this thread and you should be f*****g ashamed of yourself.

I believe in microneedling, I don't believe in you. A full headed hair seller which is here all the time.

Thought that maybe, if I took a break for a day, I'd come back and things would be back to normal.
Fat chance. Turns out we're still going.
Guess I'll go sit on a cactus.

Okay, today was my 5th session. With this, i'm at 1 month and 1 week of treatment.
I can safely say that so far, thanks to dermarolling, i have mantained.

Wonder what will happen next?
Hope i will get some thickening soon!

Maybe in the future i might switch to a 2mm dermaroller, cuz with my 1,5mm i get very little bleeding, i only get redness, which subsides after 12 hours or so.

Do you need bleeding for results anyway?
I see some people go really crazy on their scalp, some guys get so much blood that they look like they underwent a transplant lol. Do you even need to butcher your scalp that much for results?

Sounds like what you are doing is pretty good. We don't know everything yet, but what you described is according to the studies and you don't have to butcher your scalp. Especially if you've been needling for only 5 weeks and feel like you're maintaining.
But as long as you keep needling, 1.5mm or 2mm is great.

We saw some cases from users that did needled very hard and saw great results.
But if you want to be on the safe side for now, keep doing what you're doing.

Needling worked for me.
Nice to see you around!
What's your regime, man? And how long have you been at it?

You don't HAVE to. But some people have a sensitive scalp like that. I don't get too red and I do 6 passes. I do, however, get quite a few bloodspots.
Chinese study did 3-4 passes until it became reddish. I don't recall it mentioning blood.

Welcome to this crazy thread! (or at least, out of the shadows). Best of luck needling as well. What Norwood# are you starting at would you say? Pen? Roller?

I also agree on the thought of hard work, or at least ... persistence. Being able to do more than just apply minoxidil makes it feel like you're doing something about the situation rather than spending money and praying.

Thank you!
I think I am around 2.5NW, diffuse thinning. At this point i prefer to comb the hair straight, as under good lightning it is kinda obvious that my hairline, especially at temples, receded a lot. However, after hair-washing and dry-blowing, I think I can still make it look okayish. My wavy hair does not help, though, as towards the end of the day everything looks way shittier :(

Right now I am doing needling with a pen, 1.5mm, every 7 days. Apart from that and minoxidil, I am also using Regenepure shampoo.

Yes, I agree with you. Let's just hope that all this hard work will pay off..

It probably works as a maintenance treatment, but how can you safely say it maintains after 5 weeks lol.

What is it with liquid rogaine making your hair look so damn thin? When I apply the liquid from lipogaine it looks nicer and thicker.

What is back to normal? On this thread I've been doing this longer than anyone and have done nothing but offer advice.

I cannot make a post without being hounded and harassed by 3 weirdos on here. I'll leave you with Headdy's wonderful advice but I do think it's a shame that I'll be unable to contribute anymore, given the thread is about me.

I'm aware I'm annoying people but I don't think many others would be willing to just drop all this crap, as I'm expected to but I do promise that's the end of it.

@Bill_Russo my advice to you would be to use minoxidil. You contribute so much that you deserve results and I'm worried you'll be left disappointed with microneedling alone - look at the Chinese study to see the difference minoxidil makes.

@Wolf Pack please ban my account, if possible.

Lol look at the 6 or 7 posts above.....ignoring is impossible.

And it's also at the point where it's just comical and downright pathetic. If you leave he / the trolls won. Just stick around and stay positive. This is an awesome community besides the bad apple or two.
