You use anything before/after when doing your face?
Nope. Just the microneedling. The amount of comments I’ve gotten from people that haven’t seen me for a year is crazy. God willing it has the same effect on hair.....

You had wrinkles or? How long until you saw results? How often do you do it?

As a side note is a derma pen good for anything else, maybe bags under the eyes to reduce ageing?
It worked too well.. my forehead has some peeling last few days after using the pen last week.

I'll quote his latest reddit post:

"No I've removed everything because of too many poisonous people on hair loss forums insisting I'm fake. It's not worth the hassle for me. Sorry."

There are a lot of poisonous people on hair loss forums.....not exactly the best community to help as you invariably get attacked......then they wonder why there isn't more to be done to help these horrible people and this issue....so people just try to milk them and scam them instead and the rest of us get caught up in it, which makes for a vicious circle.

I really do think it would be best to use a pen. Everyone should get one if they are planning to do this. When I look at my results so far (done with a roller 4 times) it seems like it's mostly the front and the sides on front that seem to have thickened up (but again I could be wrong). Maybe because I feel it's hard to get a good roll on the mid-front and the crown/back effectively. Going to be interesting to see what the pen does.

Any results on your face? Thinking of using it on my forehead and under my eyes, but man 1.5mm sounds a lot for the face.

Yeah don’t do 1.5 on your face. I thought the roller was equivalent which is why I used that. 2nd time doing it so nothing to speak of.

Very impressive results. How often do you use the dermapen and do you apply minoxidil right after use?

I really hate to say it, but I use toppik and the texture and off color in the attached looks very similar to toppik. It’s right where he has the lack of hair in the ‘before’ slot, so it would be where he has to apply in volume.

I’ve just done a 2nd microneedling, so I’m hoping this works as much as all of us but felt I should offer my thoughts.

The guys video no longer loads! However it seems that there are many people that use a derma pen on this thread, could some of you offer advice how exactly do you use it, I’ve watched videos you go in a circular motion but does this not risk ripping out already existing hair? Also with penetrating so efficiently what do you do to keep the area of your scalp Sterile? Thanks guys I think I will get the dr pen Product

I used a pen for four sessions. I just do it on top of my hair after a shower when my hair is clean and damp. Just do motions in direction of hair, not against.

Well i went ahead and bought one rather than wait for my manual derma pen to go blunt, cost me £64 for ultima A6, hope it was a worthwhile investment. Will be using for my hair and face.

My Mrs does mine for me and I then finish off round the hair line.....but essentially treat it like mowing the lawn, or at least thats what I do.....going from back to front in the direction of you hair (make sure your hair it wet to stop it getting caught up)...then go from side to side in straight lines....make sure each line is done twice.

Takes about 5-10 minutes and your whole scalp should be red, few blood spots may appear but nothing drastic.

I agree this does look like toppik however don't forget this is just a one case off a guy on reddit, there was actual studies done about this and the regrowth is amazing

I truely beleive more people haven't stuck to this because they were using a roller and it just makes it hard work, 100% you need a pen

I got mine off amazon, I'm on my 3rd roll and taking pics a long the way and I'm pretty sure I'm making improvement, I'm using with minoxidil and recently added sandaldor, my hair is worse than the reddit guy and I have aggressive hairloss, my dad is completely bald by 40 and even my mum had a bit of hair loss, so if this works for me I think it should work for most, getting ahead of myself here but in the 5 years looking at this forum this actually makes sense and I'm actually hopeful

I think people are going to think no way this can be the cure it's too easy... but if you are healthy and your body is good at healing itself I think this is the answer..

Pen from amazon - £50
30 Needles - £15 (7 month)
minoxidil - £40 (3 months)

Now that is so cheap and this could be the answer, everyone should be doing this.

Let's keep this thread informative and civil and let's everyone try upload progress pics and state your regime

Thankyou so much to OP for starting this thread, was literally weeks off a hair system before I tried this

And remember; the guy from Tressless saw results in the 4th month, but it could take up to a year to start seeing results. Don't get discouraged, be patient and stay consistent.
Best of luck to everyone!

I saw the video of him with wet hair too.

Its douche bags like Mr Toppik that have no solutions and nothing to offer this community who are too lame to trial it themselves that make these comments and scare away the people actually making a difference.

Way to go Charliezerozerozero.

People like francky85 and others testing this are the real heros and champs here.

You’re right. Other people here are claiming results after 9-12 months.
