I only needled three times since I started (8th december) because I postpone every time I believe there is a risk of immune system weakness: not having slept enough, a cut on a finger etc.

But I believe that, it it works for me, it will work even with erratic frequency. One week or two week were just a tentative choice
Yeah, I don't think it's gonna affect progress or anything, it's just that I'd like to stick to the Chinese study.

1.75mm. minoxidil immediately after the last 3 sessions, before that it was 24 hours.
Entire scalp, two lengths, two widths then one pass in a circular motion for each temple and crown. All in takes about 10 minutes with breaks between passes to let the pain die down a bit
Dam you defo not going easy on yourself you seem to be doing every thing right from what we know. you before after is of two different sides of your head so cant evaluate

I will be hopping on to this bandwagon now. Been struggling with hair loss for the past 6 years. Tried Minoxidil for 3 years, had no effect whatsoever. Ordered a 2 mm dermapen and am supposed to receive it by this Friday. Will use it either on a weekly basis or once in 2 weeks (depends upon the recovery time) Will be using rosemary oil instead of minoxidil. What carrier oil should I use for rosemary oil? Thinking grapeseed oil or jojoba oil. Which is supposed to be less greasy? Am willing to give this a shot for a year at least. Then can do it once a month for maintenance. I hope to Christ this works.

If you tried minoxidil for 3 years why not with needling?

I had side effects. It aged my skin. I got wrinkles on my forehead which still are there. Plus, I used to get some irregularities in my heartbeats as well. I thought it isn't growing my hair anyway, it would be better if I skip it. Don't want to use it again.
I used it 15 years never had any sides never had no regrowth either tho lol

I think I'll just mix it with water and put it on my scalp :D Will be able to do it daily and there would be no issue of greasy hair/scalp also. I hope it will get absorbed though

I've been needling with minoxidil for more then 12 weeks. No noticeable improvment. Im using 2mm once per week. Im thinking about switching to once per 2 weeks.

Vegan or not, people should read the bare minimum of a thread before posting certain questions.
Sadly and, among other things, this forum lacks that and is more prone to jump to conclusions; the more typical being "I call bullshit on that" and its variations.

Sorry for not believing "evidence" in an industry filled with scammers. Nontheless I will still try the derminator 2 for myself, there's no other way but to try with yourself. Bewary that there's people here reporting losses, after 4 months you have to be deluded that's "just shedding". I still believe dermarolling/needling fucks you up if your scalp is active as in inflammation is ongoing.

So February is kinda cancelled cause the cheaper cartridges I found take longer to ship. Which probably sorta cancels January too.
Guess I can still needle once, but staying consistent is gonna be ***.
f*** everything.
Get a roller as an extra

I'm using essential oils (rosemary, cedrwood, lavender) with aloe vera gel and alcohol as a vehicle. It's not greasy at all. Regrowth still awaited after three months (there are new terminal hairs on hairline, but hair density has not increased) but there are good indications that it helped with acne and acne scars

You believe it based on what, though

Is there anyone else other than numberguy and layabout who has had real improvement by needling?

Yes I think if you went through the whole thread your noticing a bunch of people at least seeing something.... and it’s still early. There have also been a couple of people with significant results. There are pics.... anecdotes and the studies.

Again though still early
