I took finasteride for about 10 years but finally decided the sides weren't worth it anymore. Lost a ton of hair since I've been off the drug (about 5 years now). minoxidil has been part of my regimen since day 1, not sure if it's doing anything but don't want to risk quitting. I'll add vitamin D and collegen since it's the only thing i haven't tried over the years.

taking more vitamins if you already got what your body needs won't help anything.

If something have been shown through studies, that is that vitamins doesn't help anything at all.

and of course everything in this world get its limitation, so do vitamin D with some serious side effects, think about that when you want to mix anything with your bloodstream (that is what people do with needling).

BTW the retin A study saying that minoxidil + retin A is superior to minoxidil alone was funded by a South Korean company that sell hair loss products.

The retin A alone for 5 days to up regulate sulfotransferase enzymes study had no conflict of interest and an international team of scientists.

So I would just put https://www.amazon.com/ToLB-Retinol...retin+a&qid=1557816813&s=gateway&sr=8-4-spell on my scalp every evening and that's it? I put minoxidil on my head in the morning.

Minoxidil does not really work well for me. Should maybe try this.

That is retinol. What you need is retin-a, preferably retin-a microgel .1%.

I used to use it religiously on my face (and temples/widow's peak area). Then alldaychemist.com ran out and hasn't had it in stock for months. As soon as I get a chance I'm going to ask my dermatologist to prescribe it to me.

Bit of advise for people that it might get worse before it gets better. I shed alot first couple of week doing this but stuck at it thinking it's worth the risk.

What did the retin-a gel do for your face/hair?

I have to use the gel, because the cream is full of petroleum which I’m near sure is the cause of my pvcs. It’s derived from oil and interacts with my electrolytes.

On my face it worked awesome. On my hair, I didn’t think it did much but it’s been a year and a half since stopping & I've definitely lost temple ground. How much is from stopping and how much is from normal recession is always the question.

Thanks for sharing. 2 months in. Shedding a lot and my hair is at its worst it has ever been. But I was just thinking that this could also be because I am shedding weak hair and new thick hair may start growing in later. You gave me hope.

So I’m reading here that there may be an initial shock period, which is a relief because I was getting paranoid thinking my hair is getting worse.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that it looks that way simply because it’s just regular mbp thinning

Just got 3 months Kirkland for $30 instead of $220 for Rogaine from the local pharmacy. Hopefully Kirkland is just as effective...

Has anyone had experience using needle lengths longer than 1.5mm on the D2 12 needle cartridges?

you have actually no idea what you are talking about, do you?
first, you might explain what "good needling" and what "bad needling" is.
second what are deep wounds? follica needles will go as deep as 5mm? so wtf are you talking about moron?

the only fact that i can see is, that you are spreading misinformation and you have no clue whatsoever
FDA has approved .5 mm needle devices for home use .so you think you are smarter than them?
