Thanks. I will going to give it a try. But I am pain sensitive. I think it would reqiure great deliberation for me to puncture my skin . but hairs ,they r precious... And chicks, they are priceless
And even more priceless is the feeling of being comfortable with what you see in the mirror. No chick can give you that one back.

I started last week using 0.5mm needles once a week with no minoxidil, got impatient and started minoxidil on day 3. I'm thinking of switching back to no minoxidil, and 0.5mm needling 5 days/week as per mouse study. See if my scalp responds like a mouse...

You'd do better if you kept to a consistent routine. You're not helping yourself by swapping and changing. Following the course of action taken in the study is just common sense. Either use Minoxidil or don't but stick to the routine and don't waver. Anything else is only harming your chance of success.

Doing my 6th session today. Probably more like my 2nd though really. Those first 4 times with the roller probably didn't do sh*t as the redness went away after a few hours.

Excited =D

I just did my sixth session yesterday too. How's your hair previously and you see any improvement yet? Minimal results here.

I am seeing some new longer hair on my temples and a bunch of smaller ones. Think it's still early though, but I am optimistic.

One interesting thing I've noticed though, on my right temple there is a longer hair (where it's slick bald) and I am pretty sure it's growing from where I bled when I needled. Maybe we do need to bleed a little. At least maybe I do.

You don't need to bleed....more is not better.....you break the Epidermis, you trigger wound healing response, bleeding just means you went down far enough to break a blood vessel and create more issues IMO.

No study I have read says the harsher the wound, the better the hair growth....1.5mm to 2mm seems optimal and should have very little bleeding.

It's hard to say man. Either way probably works, but I bet you get faster results if you bleed, but it's more risky. Remember that 2young guy and how his head looked. He got one of the best results.

You also have the OP; 2young's results are no better than his and he didn't bleed at all. Just a bit at first according to him.

Hey guys. Can anyone recommend a dermapen that doesn't get stuck above 1.5mm? I'm trying to follow the guy from tressless exactly but the pen I bought seems to be faulty. At first, it would glide over my head at 2mm and the process was relatively quick. Now it gets stuck about 1.2mm. I can still use it but it takes so much longer than the first 3 times I used it and it is much more unpleasant.

I've had some good progress so far though so I don't want to stop. I am definitely seeing hairs regrowing, which is frankly amazing. I've also been taking pictures but the new hairs are hard to see but they are definitely there. I thought was imagining them early on but they are becoming more noticeable now. Oh and I'm using minoxidil, which I used previously for a year and noticed no improvements whatsoever.

Anyways, any feedback regarding a reliable dermapen would be great.

I just used the Dr. Pen Dermapen A6 last night. For anyone who’s used this, is the faster setting best? There’s about 5 different speeds, not sure which one i should stick with.

Also, i was previously using a roller. A pen is definitely hitting better. I was actually red all over unlike with the dermaroller.

That's my brother in law, not me. I have posted countless images of my own hair and in the video I had wet hair, so that rules out Toppik.

Obviously I have no way of convincing you - nor do I have any desire to - but posts like yours are why I deleted everything. All I wanted to do is help and I really do not know how much proof or evidence I could have posted.

Anyway, all the backlash wasn't worth it so I'll not be posting again but you can see my results here. If you want to spend hours looking at them and trying to find where I've used Toppik then go for it, but you are wasting your time:

Hey man! First off thank you. Second, did you take down your YouTube videos? I could use your advice.

Would you mind sharing your dad's results in the future? I'd highly appreciate that as I'm gonna do needling without Minoxidil and I'm sure others would too.

Thanks for helping us. I positive you're not a fraud and truly wants to help the world of hair loss. I'm doing dermapen every 7th day 2mm. I know it's hard for you to say but do you think it's enough time for the wounds to heal? Has anyone you know done microneedling without minoxidil? I am currently doing it and I'm afraid minoxidil is a big part of the procedure. How long would you go for only dermapen 2mm before you start minoxidil too?

Thanks in advance.
